pam Posted December 31, 2009 Author Report Posted December 31, 2009 It was a lot of fun. There were 17 people there. That's awesome. Quote
Dravin Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 I thought it went okay. It was all socially and stuff. Quote
beefche Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Any pics that can be shared? And was Chad there? Did pammy totally dig on the waiters there as she does at the Olive Gardens in a 50 mile radius? Quote

beefche Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 She did get a random guy to take a picture with her/the group. :)I have GOT to hang out more with her. Maybe I can actually get a date from her brashness.... Quote
Honor Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 It was a lot of fun. Great group, and miraculously there was not texting going on at the table... at least that I was aware of. It was fun to meet the people I hadn't before and reconnect with that that I had.And was Chad there? Did pammy totally dig on the waiters there as she does at the Olive Gardens in a 50 mile radius?I went to Olive Garden last night with some old friends and saw him. He looked a little heartbroken when I showed him the pictures of Pammy with her new guy, but I think he'll be ok. Can't expect Pam to settle down or anything. I mean, she IS one hot cookie! Quote
Dravin Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Baked Goods, they're all the same. :) Quote
pam Posted December 31, 2009 Author Report Posted December 31, 2009 I'm feeling there is a bit of jealousy amongst the other females of the group. I can't help it if the young waiters just find me so...ummmm....well I was going to say "catty" just to keep from using the word Cougarish. But that doesn't sound right. Quote
StrawberryFields Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 So is it okay to post the picture here of Pam (the cougar) and her new man? I have a great one and could crop out the rest of the group if needed. For that matter Pam also has it now bc of facebook. Pam you have my permission to use that photo here for the enjoyment of others!!! Honor, the only texting I saw was Pams son but who could blame him if my son would have even come he would have been texting too. :) Quote
Elphaba Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 It was a lot of fun. Great group, and miraculously there was not texting going on at the table...There may not have been any texting, but there was certainly some goosing! Elph, who got a little thrill out of it. Quote

But that doesn't sound right. If the other gals are jealous catty is probably the word to describe them. Personally I think it's the gum drop buttons, but I suppose you'd have the ask the waiters. :) Quote

I was wondering about that, I just figured it was some belated Christmas Goose. Dravin, who is thankful social mores protect him from stuff like that in those kind of situations. Quote
pam Posted December 31, 2009 Author Report Posted December 31, 2009 Perhaps that's why I always fiind myself yelling "NOOOO not the gum drop buttons." Quote
Dravin Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Perhaps that's why I always fiind myself yelling "NOOOO not the gum drop buttons."Forget diamonds. Gumdrops are a girl's best friend. :) Quote
Honor Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Forget diamonds. Gumdrops are a girl's best friend. :)Or a server's... Quote
Dravin Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Or a server's...He was only after Pam for her gumdrop buttons? Waiters, only after one thing. Quote
beefche Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 That's no fair. I can't keep gumdrop buttons on me....they keep melting away from my slobber. Quote
Dravin Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 (edited) That's no fair. I can't keep gumdrop buttons on me....they keep melting away from my slobber.Have you considered cubic gumdropias? Admittedly they're fake, but once he actually cares about you stuff like that shouldn't matter. Lure'm in with bling, it's a tried and true tactic. :)You know, we should test this whole gumdrop thing. Somebody needs to volunteer to wear this:And see if the waiters pay more attention to them than to Pam. :) Edited December 31, 2009 by Dravin Quote
pam Posted December 31, 2009 Author Report Posted December 31, 2009 Dravin haven't you learned..Less is more? Quote
Honor Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Since we're doing experiments with candy... I've always wanted to do this, but never had the patience. Hey Beefche, come here... Quote
Dravin Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Dravin haven't you learned..Less is more?Hey, I'm not wearing any gumdrops (I don't think you can get any less) and I didn't get any waiter attention! Beefche's posts indicate a similar concern. I think you're hiding something from us Pammy dear. Quote
pam Posted December 31, 2009 Author Report Posted December 31, 2009 Could it be Dravin that the waiters have been men? haha Quote
Dravin Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Could it be Dravin that the waiters have been men? hahaWe had waiters (or waitresses if you prefer I suppose) of the female persuasion. And next you'll be pointing out that Beefche wasn't there. I still think you're hiding something. Quote

Dravin Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 As a complete aside to the current silliness. I must say it is kinda weird having people to attach to the handles. Quote
