Mahone Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Last christmas morning, I umm, "accidently" replaced our traditional christmas CD with my own custom CD which included songs such as "the night santa went crazy". Didn't go down too well. But that song is my favourite Quote

Misshalfway Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 This is my absolute favorite of all time. I mean this is what Christmas in Utah is ALL ABOUT! Hee hee! I will just have you know me and my brothers used to lip sink to this entire Christmas album. I had my Marie Osmond microphone that worked for real and my brothers uses our ping pong paddles as guitars. I am telling you, it was a show to be remembered! Choreography and everything! Quote

Maya Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 And so has the winter (Christmas) reached the far North again, Winter has reached to our heartsAnd the Christmastrees are shining brightlylightening the small cottages. But up on the roost there is stillThe cage that closes in my singing bird. But the moaning in the cage has stoppedFor who would moan, if one can sing.(There where you can feel the cent of cypresses even on winterI am sitting on the branch of the biggest tree.Where the sea is blue and wine most bobblyWeather is always like in MayAnd I can see Etna, beautiful far away Oh here it all makes you dizzyAnd the songs gently sound in the cradleWho could tell of greater happiness…) This is not usually with the songLet your brightest shine of all starsShine over my Finland... far awayAnd when your shine goes outBless that land of memoriesI will never find anything like it againFinland will be the dearest and best for me foreverAnd as a thank for that Will this song of Sylvia sound Highest of all songs. Here you can choose which one you want to hear....YouTube - Syklvian joululaulu Quote
Maya Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 (edited) This one too is worth reading trhough..Light a candle, a candle is going to shine for this little EarthThis shiny heavens star, where we all liveMay everyone deal the hope that good things will happenMay Eartha and skies meet. A candle is light for thatTwo candles are to shine for love and for faithFor those who care and those who always build bridgesMay prisoners be freed and refuges find a homeLight a candle for those who cry and for those who comfort themThree candels will now shine for everyone who has to fight. For rigiousness and for freedom. They need help from us.May no one loose their hope as all the people are one.Light a candel for the one who fights for freedom and for rigiousness. Now all four candles are light for himWho loves everything that lives, every lion and every lam.Light a candel for the king of heavens who saw the flock of goatsNow Eartha dn Heaven meets on the child laying on the strawI did not try to put the words in the song I just translated it her the song: Edited December 1, 2009 by Maya Quote
