Okay, I'm back. Wedding was BEAUTIFUL and I am happy to have snagged the Ogden temple. Failure to bother with registering led to five slow cookers.

I really like being married.

Congratulations Backroads! You thought about this more than most of my relatives with all your questions beforehand, which I thought was stellar, and I'm glad you made it and are happy!

Thanks! Yes, my tendency to panic and overanalyze really paid off with some great discussions, soul-searching, and bonding as a couple. I highly recommend going in semi-intelligently into a serious relationship. Thanks for your help!

Yay!! Congrats!!

Failure to bother with registering led to five slow cookers.

I registered, but not for a slow cooker. My mother-in-law wanted to get us one. I got one from her, two from guests, one from my mom, and a 22-quart turkey roaster. Whoops.

Not a single toaster.

YAY!

Gee, I hope her dress was more modest than that! :P

Congrats, backroads! Sounds like you can have lots of nice dinners with your nearly half dozen slow cookers.

Congratulations. Just wait, those slow cookers will really come in handy at a RS dinner or Ward Potluck- just you wait. Let the RS Pres know how many you have. :D

My Best Friend has four huge roasters, without her, Thanksgiving and Easter would not be near as successful as they are.

I wuv my manga-style wedding picture, slamjet.

It's over half a dozen. Both of us already had a slow cooker each! We plan on contributing very much to my grandma's monthly soup night.

Congratulations on your wedding. Hopefully you can exchange the duplicate items for something else. I think WalMart is pretty good about accepting items without a receipt--they just need to carry the product though. I've heard that Target's return policy isn't the greatest. Bed, Bath & Beyond might be an option.
