Vatican website taken down by pro-abortion hackers | LifeSiteNews.com

ROME, Italy, March 7, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Hackers claiming ties to the high profile group Anonymous are taking credit after the Vatican website went down Wednesday, claiming they are going after the “corrupt” Catholic Church over the clergy sex abuse scandal as well as its stances against abortion and contraception.

There's a part of me that wants the entire world to lose all forms of useful electricity. That way these hackers would realize, albeit eventually, that there's a better way to spend one's life than attacking others that disagree with them.

In the meantime, I'll resume aggressively ignoring the little twerps. ;)

well i hear taht the "ringleader" was caught and has been working with the FBI and that there was a major bust going down just recently... so hopefully some of them will start reaping what they have sown.

In my imaginary world where everyone's a lot more smug, the Vatican responds by turning Peter's keys condemning the hackers to hell. "God doesn't look too favorably on bullies," a press release stated. A spokesman added "sure, we've had our share of bad apples - what with the abusive Priests and all; but we only have to deal with them in this world. The condemned [in Anonymous] will have to deal with them for all eternity."

...

They took our website down?! They totally win. We should change our stance on contraception and abortion now. And while we're at it, we'd better allow women into the priesthood. There is no way our 2000 year old church could ever last without a website.
