Guest Posted November 10, 2012 Report Posted November 10, 2012 Does anyone else love this show? It's nice to see a family on TV that loves each other, works, has fun, and holds to some values. If you look on youtube there are videos of the dad (Phil) talking about how everything he has is from God, how the founding fathers had faith in Christ, and the importance of living according to Christian principles. I really like this family. Quote

applepansy Posted November 10, 2012 Report Posted November 10, 2012 I just heard about it the other day and watched two episodes on hulu. LOL Hilarious but not a show I'll watch regularly. Quote
beefche Posted November 10, 2012 Report Posted November 10, 2012 Dravin and I have just started watching it. It's obvious that things are played up for the cameras. But, I do like their family loyalty, love for each other, charity for others, and just the way Jase talks. It's a good show that gives us the chuckles. Quote
Guest Posted November 10, 2012 Report Posted November 10, 2012 just the way Jase talks.I agree completely with that! Jase is hilarious. Quote
pam Posted November 10, 2012 Report Posted November 10, 2012 Here I thought this thread was going to be about the Oregon Ducks. Quote
Guest Posted November 10, 2012 Report Posted November 10, 2012 Here I thought this thread was going to be about the Oregon Ducks. You think a Boise State Bronco is going to post a thread about the Ducks? Not a positive one, anyway. classylady it's on A&E Quote

dahlia Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 Does anyone else love this show? It's nice to see a family on TV that loves each other, works, has fun, and holds to some values.I haven't seen the show, but I remember the commercial where one guy says he wants to fire all of them, but he can't "'cause you're kin to me." Loved it. How many of us have wanted to smack someone upside the head, but stayed our hand 'cause they were related to us? Quote
thebestmeicanb Posted November 14, 2012 Report Posted November 14, 2012 every single day, i work for my father Quote
mikbone Posted November 14, 2012 Report Posted November 14, 2012 Yeah, we love em. Its kinda like watching the Osmonds for us but different. We love SiFy Our favorite episode was when Si and Phil went to the kids school for career day and teach the kids how to clean a duck and all about Vietnam. Quote

ctr123 Posted December 6, 2012 Report Posted December 6, 2012 Not only are they the funniest family on tv, but no bleeping neccessary. I love that! Most reality shows are bleep bleep bleep. Hey! It's just good tv. lol Quote
dahlia Posted December 7, 2012 Report Posted December 7, 2012 So, after this thread, I took a chance and watched a few DD shows. I thought they were pretty funny. I ended up sending my son a couple of quotes (maybe from Si - the older one?) something along the line of it's hard to find a pretty girl who carries a bible and can cook. And one about you have to know if a girl can cook before you get married - how are you going to stay with someone for 50 years of they can't cook? I like his view of time and marriage. I'm not sure the woman should do all the cooking, but since I haven't done much to teach my son, a girl who can cook would be helpful. Quote
Guest Posted December 7, 2012 Report Posted December 7, 2012 I watched some sermons on youtube that Phil (the dad) gave. They're a strong Christian family and true patriots. I enjoyed listening to him. Quote
