Is there a way to block someone?

I keep getting these texts from a disgruntled guy that is peeved that I won't lower my price on an item posted on KSL. I told him: "No, thanks" to his offer and he didn't like that. He keeps sending texts with: "That's not as valuable for what you're asking." My last text told him to search eBay for the same thing USED and that my price is reasonable. Ugh.

That's a question best directed towards your cell provider and possibly your cell phone manufacturer. That said if you're hoping someone here has personal experience they'll need to know your cell provider and cell phone model to know if it is relevant.

If you have a smartpone, you can usually hit your options key after selecting the phone number in your log and choose to reject everything coming from that number.

I have Verizon - I can block people. I have done it with sales people. It is easy to do on the web site.

Yes, go to the website or call Verizon and they can get unhappy customer blocked.

Well he stopped but within an hour I received 5 annoyed texts from him. I only replied twice in that entire time. Best way to let a fire die, is to suffocate it. Anyway, his last text said along the lines: "I'll text you in a few weeks when it drops in value (below my offer) and then you'll wish you sold!"

I actually JUST sold it on eBay last night! YES!

Vort, the texts stopped when I told him to compare my asking price to those on eBay. I received like three texts after that and have ignored him. I'm not petty like that, with anything, never have been.

As far as I can tell, there's no way to block callers on AT&T without using a paid service to do so.

KSL is a Utah local tv station (NBC affiliate) managed by Bonneville Corp which is owned by the church.

If your provider and phone are fully compatible with Google Voice, it's a great advantage. My cell number is routed entirely through GV, and I can block people quite easily from the phone or from the computer.
