Sometimes people cannot convey there feelings correctly in text. Which leaves a lot for the reader to determine. Give the poster the benefit of the doubt, and make your arguments with the courtesy and respect you would like to be given.

Misunderstandings and miscommunication happen so easily on discussion boards so lets just take that into consideration when replying to someone you thought may have offended you.

I appreciate it =)

Bite me.

1. Is your rabies vaccination current?

2. Where?

Kay :P:lol::P

LOL...this just reminded me of the poor little squirrel my dog destroyed the other day. He has been chasing this little thing around the yard and under the wood pile all winter...he finally caught the thing two days ago...

Now we have to worry about rabies...He has had his shots...does anyone know if that is enough?

Is it enough to give your dog a vaccine and a few shots and then hope that is enough to keep it living?

I think that's what you're asking, but why are you asking us?

It's your dog, after all. Not mine.

But if I were you, and I'm not, thank God, I would also give it enough food and water.

... and enough of your love, in enough of a shelter, to help to try to keep it alive.

That might not be enough, but it might be all you can do.

... and in that case I would then say it is enough.

... and

... psst

... remember

... this topic is about misunderstandings.

What makes you think that I think that she is?

Well, why answer someone if you're not sure if they're still around; especially if they've been gone for years?

Because I wanted to.

You got a problem with that, Maureen?

And not only that, I resurrected a thread that is mainly about misunderstandings.

I simply responded to the last post in that thread to bring back the topic... of misunderstandings.

I hope you are having a good day. :)

What do you think Ray? Do you think I have a problem with that? :P

Heh, you think that's bad?

I think it's pretty sad the board is so dead that members are criticizing other members who are looking up years old threads to liven things up.

:hmmm:

I just noticed this thread. This is what I am talking about in my "Shift" thread.

The Board feels quieter these days because we've gotten busy, and are being more selective about what we respond to.

Could it be that there is nothing of value here anymore?

Strawberry,

Don't worry about this site...I still find plenty of interesting stuff to read here, even if I don't post in many of the threads that I read.

I have a message board of my own and it is really struggling!!! I sometimes think I will just abandon it, then somebody new joins or posts something and I just have to keep it going...I wish it was half as busy as this place!!

Thanks Pushka Darling. :)

Did I sound worried? I just get bored too easily I guess. :D

Personally I thought it was pretty funny that Ray was able to take such an old thread and make it one of the livelier threads on the board...

Funny, yet kinda sad that this is where we are.... but funny it's true.

Hey, I and I do miss Spencer. :)
