Blackmarch
I don't get it, about the olive tree?the olive tree represents the house of Israel, the good fruit of the olive tree represent the the righteous, the wild fruit represent those who have gone astray, the Lord = God/Christ, the servants = propehts and other servants of the lord. Pretty much a history and prophecy of the people of Israel through metaphorical (sorry can't think of the correct word at the moment) imagery. Finrock
Good afternoon KingintheNorth. I hope you are having a good day! :)I don't get it, about the olive tree? Also, to add to what has already been said: The truth is that, like all scripture, Jacob 5 was writen by the spirit of prophecy and in order to understand it fully and properly, requires that it be understood through the spirit of prophecy. Or, in other words, it must be understood through the power of the Spirit in order to really understand its meaning.Regards,Finrock Edited July 12, 2013 by Finrock Grammar

Guest
I LOVE the parable of the Olive Tree. I used to have some great bookmarks about it, but that was a couple of computers ago.
