A local animal rescue really needs help with animal care for that day. The volunteer shift would be for no more than 3 hours every Sunday. LDS0617 Posted March 11, 2015 Report Share Posted March 11, 2015 Since it has to do with something that MUST be done that day (feeding, cleaning out litter boxes, walking, etc), I am sure it is fine....especially if it is the same things you would do if the animal belonged to you. We have a few people in our area that volunteer at the Prison.....they go in after being approved and talk with the prisoners.
