I think at different times we all act and react differently to what is posted. I feel if we all remember there are real live people behind each of these posts, and what we say may be taken way out of context....Slow down, write clearly, calmly, and as kind as you hope others might respond to you. I'm getting tired of all these threads attacking Snow. Get over it already, folks! You complain about how he is being unkind to you when a large part of it is you taking offense where none was likely intended. What was that famous quote from Brigham about taking offense?

Okay I'm just making an observation here. But there are many posts about contention and ugliness and such...yet the same people making all of these statements keep coming back. Even though there are mentions of "other" sites. Hmmmmm

I have actually come back because of the request of a few nice people who Pm'd me and informed me that I was missed...I also, do not plan to hold any grudges!! I just want to have a pleasant existence up here, I am not here to belittle or hurt anybody and I take offence to those who find some need within themselves to push others down to somehow feel better about themselves...

...Remember the old saying...to hold someone down, you must stay down there with him...

Im sure most people feel the same about snow. To have to come online to be nasty to strangers and make derogative comments and then say 'im just expressing my opinion' is like a kid shoving another in the playground and saying, 'I can do what I like'. Its quite sad and quite pathetic, and as snow is one of the top posters here just goes to show what sort of life he must have-mostly stuck in front of a computer instead of having a real life. Snow seems bitter about life in general, and bitter people give out an ugly vibe. When I see snow's name on a post I automatically think 'ugly'.

Incidentally, the people on this site who have helped me the most are non-members. What a great example Snow is setting as an LDS thats all I can say.

Ahha, a pyschic who thinks he has some magical ability to understand my life. Now this might be interesting if the poster had even a smidgen of reasoning abililty - alas no. Hey Aphrodite, look at my posting total. Now look at my join date. Ever take an algebra class? Go ahead Pascal, what's my average post total?

Beyond that, let me ask this of you - what kind of person spends their time dreaming up what they think is personal life of someone from the internet that they have never met? Do you think that I am even curious about you and your life and what you do with your time? So when you claim that someone is ugly and has no life, but you're the one calling others ugly and dreaming about their non-message board life - how do you, Aphrodite, think we are to interpret that? Without laughing I mean.

Though I do think it is rather sad that I've even put some mods on my ignore list at times.

Also I don't think I've ever put a non-LDS poster on ignore, shouldn't we be setting the example?

Thanks, it was a great day. It was also very long. The closest Temple is 2.5hrs away. We were married at 11:00AM then we had to drive back here fro a reception at 6:00PM. We were exhausted when we got home, but no too tired . Life has been great ever since. Here's a pic:
