Jane_Doe
Long story short, my family now has to be on a low carb / low cholesterol diet... and we have no idea how to do it. I'd really like something like a website that lists recipes and just tells me the nutritional facts. This shouldn't be hard but...alas my Google-fu fails me and I'm posting on social media for help. Thank you in advance!
Blossom76
This is a good site and it has nutritional info for every recipe plus some basic info on low carb. https://www.dietdoctor.com/low-carb This one has heaps of recipes and nutritional info but I don't think the search function is that great! https://www.ditchthecarbs.com/recipes/ This ones not bad either, full nutrition breakdown for every recipe https://www.skinnytaste.com/recipes/low-carb/ Good luck, it's not as hard as it seams, you will be ok! dahlia
I'm on dietdoctor out of curiosity. It is low carb, but definitely, with all the meat, not low cholesterol. Veganism/vegetarianism will get to the low cholesterol, and you can do low carb if you need to go that way. A little harder (I'm diabetic, so I know from carbs), but it can be done. I don't know why you've been asked to go low carb, but I will say that many diabetic ve*gans eat carbs and are OK. Some of my lowest blood sugars are when all I eat are potatoes. SilentOne
This website doesn't list all the nutrition information straight out, but apparently, if you create an account at https://www.yummly.com/, there's a button you can push on each post for that info. https://kalynskitchen.com/special-diets/low-carb/
