So...

Suppose we find intelligent life out there, and they're open to cultural & financial exchange.

How do you see missionary work occurring?

Well, we have no information on other worlds, but I'd assume that they have their own prophet already with the gospel existent on their planet(s).

When the old and new worlds were separated by a technological limitation of travel, there was a prophet in the Old World, and a prophet in the New World.  There was apostasy in both.  They connected and then the restoration.

I'm certain things would play out differently if the restoration occurred prior to our ability to circumnavigate the globe.

Only in America could private space travel occur. It's beautiful to see what people can accomplish when they are basically left alone.

I thought SpaceX was privately funded. Eh, not surprised it got subsidies. Still though, beautiful to see.

I know Musk has "gone where no private entity has gone before." But I've heard from my cousin at NASA a rumor about his foray into space.  He is a manager with a dream.  He really has no concept of the realities of what is required to go to space.  That is why he's had so many failures.  Yes, we can point to his many successes. And we can even compare him to Edison who found 1000 ways NOT to improve the light bulb.  But rockets cost a might bit more than a light bulb.

Speaking of that. I told him that you would help cover the costs. So...yeah. You got a, um, pretty big bill coming next month.

We're behind. The Catholic church has already extended an invitation.

(I seem to remember reading somewhere that the Pope speculated that baptism might not actually be necessary since they would fall under original sin, but I can't find it anywhere).
