Dude, if yer gonna try hacking a photo, at least ask @NeedleinA for a few tips.

No, Zil, you missed it. Look, right there. In the upper right corner. It looks like a vintage painting of a BIC Triumph

My baby sister celebrated her birthday this week.  I can't believe she's THAT old.  I can't believe I'm older!

I feel like there is an age missing in this post.

:hmmm:I wanted to be surprised but didn't have a reference of age.

wait what?  What is that on the back wall?  Is that a ... BIC Triumph?

How interesting. The symmetry of this painting has Judas, Thomas, and Bic on the fringes. I looks like that pen is just barely on the safe side of apostasy.

Did you even read the site rules? I can totally see the nibs!

Oooooops!  Sorry.  Forgot this wasn't the pen porn forum. :embarrassed:

Not sure I like this. I found this in our stuff, comes with a ton of ink. Although I am pretty sure this is a calligraphy pen. Maybe if I go buy a thinner type of Fountain.  hmm.

You have very nice handwriting. :)

Meanwhile, we need a closeup photo of the nib so I can read the writing on it.  And of the rest of the pen.  And closeups of any writing on it.  Must know what this is.

The most probable reasons for not liking it are:

1) It looks like the tines are out of alignment.  It probably feels scratchy going from left to right.  This is fairly easily fixed.  (It also looks like a "crisp italic" nib, which means it's very picky about its rotation in relation to the page - because of the sharp corners on the outside of the tines.)

2) The paper you're writing on is probably the standard American 20lb copy paper. :yuck:  It sucks (literally, ink into it and spreads out and feathers said ink).

I'd suggest moving this discussion to the Fountain Pen Frenzy thread, but @NightSG has been known to enjoy a nice fountain pen, and @Sunday21 is secretly dying to head to the nearest Canadian FP shop. :D

Right, we hijacked their B-Day thread. :C
