clbent04 Posted December 5, 2018 Report Posted December 5, 2018 (edited) I've traveled and lived in a lot of different places, but I've never seen colors in the sky like in Arizona. Straight from my camera, no photoshopping. Seeing it in person, it's really an incredibly vibrant crimson sky. Looks a lot lighter in the photo, but still nice. Photo taken 12/4/18. 5:29 PM (MST). Guest Posted December 5, 2018 Report Posted December 5, 2018 In Pinetop, I saw green sunsets on a regular basis. Not the Green flash, but the sky was about 30pcnt green as the sun was setting. Quote
NeuroTypical Posted December 5, 2018 Report Posted December 5, 2018 We have those in my neck of the woods. Also, sunrises. JohnsonJones 1 Quote

It's always just the sunsets for us in Arizona. I don't notice the sunrises being as unique here. NeuroTypical 1 Quote
SilentOne Posted December 12, 2018 Report Posted December 12, 2018 I've heard we have sunrises here. But somehow even when I'm up that early, I never seem to see one. Quote
anatess2 Posted December 12, 2018 Report Posted December 12, 2018 I've never been to Arizona. Not even in passing or an airport transfer. But it's one of my future dream destinations for my desired nomadic lifestyle after the kids fly the coop. Especially Flagstaff. The reason? It's supposed to be a Dark Sky city. I'd also love to just park my Tiny House somewhere along the Colorado river overlooking overtaxed California and star gaze all night. clbent04 1 Quote
