As always, the lesser of two evils.

Yup. In the real world you need to accept that.

I haven't read Lovecraft (and I should perhaps, considering it's cult status), but from what I understand of his writings, Cthulhu was actually not as bad as some of the other things from beyond in the outer reaches of things that should not be seen (or known, lest it drive you mad or worse).

You mistake the meaning of the dog.  The dogs aren't representations of the candidates.  They are representations of the people reacting to the candidate.  In this case, it's how the left reacts to the two incidents.  Hate orange man, give Biden a pass.

Hypocrisy.  Lack of consistency in outrage.  #HashtagBelieveWomen, but throw Reade under the bus for the greater good.  Shame, shame, SHAME on anyone who reacts like this dog.

This is where I think all the news outlets and political pendents are all lost somewhere deep in the weeds of the DC swamp.  In scripture Nicodemus asked the question - "Does our law condemn a man before we have heard him speak?"

Justice is like white water rafting.  It does not matter at all what or how many previous injustices have occurred in the past - just like rafting in the rapids it does not matter any more what the river has done nor how recently it has done it - the single most important thing is to be focused and ready for what is coming.  The single most important question of justice is whatever we are currently facing.  Revenge for past injustices is never just.  And is as bad as any excuse is for any injustice.
