There is a certain amount of tension that society is able to handle. When various strands in the cable start breaking, we're probably better off slackening the cable and allowing some danger to take its toll. Yep. WE (USA) are ready... don't care if Quebec is. They can have Venezuela-type disturbances in their Walmart and decide they'd still maintain authoritarian rule, doesn't mean we can't decide some other fate for the USA looking at incidents in Quebec. The problem with Quebec is that they what to speak French in America - which screws up their logic to begin with.
