pam Posted May 23, 2024 Report Posted May 23, 2024 You ate a tostada. Even some authentic Mexican places serve meat on them. Quote

That was mentioned in my initial post. But since it's taco meat and I've never done that before and this forum doesn't have enough fun and I wanted to make a poll to show off my clever combinations of "tostada" and "taco", I'm rejecting calling it a "tostada" and insisting it be some combination of the two words. (There may also be some effort here to avoid doing work...) Edited May 23, 2024 by zil2 SilentOne 1 Quote
Vort Posted May 24, 2024 Report Posted May 24, 2024 FTR, my first thought was tacostada, but when I saw tostaco I changed my mind. zil2 1 Quote
JohnsonJones Posted May 24, 2024 Report Posted May 24, 2024 Guatemalan Tostada. They have meat on them as opposed to some places in Mexico. Most likely my last post perhaps for awhile...as I'm going on my summer research trip soon. Not to Mexico or Central America though. Maybe the last one I take forever as well (this or next years perhaps, I'm getting upwards in age to the point that it's actually becoming harder than it has been ever before). zil2 1 Quote
