1. My friend Andrea just found out the doctor got all of her skin cancer removed

2. My baby has a heartbeat

3. We have the things we need

4. I have wonderful friends

5. I have a great family

How about you?

13. Heavenly Father has this year brought us a job (after a 5 year wait), and in a few months we should be financially OK

14. Losing the car if we hadn't our debts would take much longer to pay off and my husband wouldn't be losing so much weight and getting so much fitter

15. My illness for the patience it has taught and continues to teach me if I met the person I was 10 years ago whilst she was temple worthy I wouldn't like her very much.

16. The amazing sisters and brothers in my branch that have made it through an awful time in our history and have come through so much stronger

17. My parents who despite their failings and our differences have done the best they could and gave me a good start in life which gives me the strength I have now

19. I am just so greatful for my life right now and greatful for the person Heavenly Father is turning me into - I am pretty enough, good enough, and right now Heavenly Father is clsoe

20. My church leaders on a local and general level that have accomplished so much to make my life easier and the incredibly hard work these people put in

and...............

I won't go on although I could

This is a wonderful thread! I always love to contemplate my blessings.

I have so many many things that I am grateful for.

To name but a few:

~Knowing that my Heavenly Father loves me and my family, which is evident in all the blessings he bestows upon us

~My Saviour and the great example he is to me.

~The ray of light and happiness the Gospel is in my life

~My 2 beautiful, healthy, happy little children

~The 7 years I've been married and sealed to my wonderful, strong, loving, caring yummy husband, who loves and adores me despite all the undeserved c**p I can give him. He sees the best in me and encourages and inspires me to develop this. He is the best dad ever to our children and he is my best friend.

~That we have a home to live in, food in our fridge and money to pay our bills

~How much I have learnt and grown from my trials

~My healthy body and mind

~My caring extended family and my lovely friends

...and oh so many more things...!!!

:bearhug:yay! I love this thread! okay...here's what I'm greatful for: (*coughcough*) in no particular order....

1. The Gospel of Jesus Christ and all that it means to me and has done for me.

2. My sweet Michael. He truly is my hero :superman:

3. Ivy, Bryan and Katie and the unconditional love that they have for their not-so-perfect mommy. They know I try to do my best.

4. The loving home that I was brought up in. For all my brothers and my sister. A mom and dad who made life and three long hours of church on Sunday fun! They did good!

5. For being blessed with a truly wicked sense of humor. It really does make life fun when you can look at it a little cattywampus and know that it's all good.

6. For .net! Thank you Heather!! I love you! to all the friends I've made here (you know who you are)... it's been so great getting to know ya'll and the support you've all given me through job changes and trials with the fam. You've done so much more than you know!

the list could go on and on...but like charley, I'll just leave it at that!

-God, the Father, for authoring the Plan of Salvation

-Jesus, His Beloved Son, for submitting to the will of the Father in all things. For coming to earth and bringing to pass the Atonement.

-The Holy Ghost, for His anonymous transference of Light, the will and power of God, into my heart and mind. Through His mediation I am transformed into a new creature.

-I'm grateful for having made the conscious choice to come here and my willingness to endure the struggles and weaknesses I've been given, of making choices both good and bad, as well as enduring the unrighteous choices of others that impact me. Thank God, literally, for His perfect Atonement, which will recompense every man (woman) according to his (her) works.

-For my wife, who has turned-out to be my best friend and a true partner in every good sense of the word.

-For my 3 beautiful children. They are precious gifts.

-For having the experience of serving a mission.

-For having been taught about ways I can connect with my Jesus more effectively each day.

-For MorningStar, for starting this post. Expressing gratitude is godly, and it reveals unto us the mysteries of godliness.

-For those who participate in this forum. You bless my life in more ways than you can know. Thank you.

I'm thankful for my wife, my son, the gospel, my job, and all of my many blessings that the Lord has seen fit to bestow upon me and my family.

A little off topic but, tree, you have thanked more than twice what you have posted (331 thanks - 116 posts). That's incredible. Way to go.
