And why did the Germans assign the article das rather than die to Mädchen?

I personally don't care what people wear. I care that people show up, that people love one another, help one another, serve one another. My bishop prefers that I wear a neck tie, because it's part of the "priesthood uniform." I disagreed with him, but I told him that I would be happy to wear one if he really wanted me to. He did not compel me to, but he did want me to. I've worn a tie and also a coat since then, only because I love my bishop.

While we wait for our next question, I found this quiz. It's a very good one. I scored 84%. Out of 55 questions, I got 9 wrong. I disagree with one or two questions, which I believe I should have gotten right. Still a very good quiz. Any brave souls want to take the quiz and post your score? How Well Do You Know The Bom? -

We can wait, askandanswer. Make it a good one. :) -
Just read that article. Blah. In the long run, women end up hurting themselves any which way you look at it. There are so many single moms where I work, and though I'm not attributing it all to the pill, I wouldn't doubt that it and the mentality it has produced in our society is a contributing factor. Personally speaking, I'm going on 24 years of marriage and loving it! Watch and learn:

Does Christ know the exact time when He will return?

Consider also, that many, like the bro of Jared have been shown all things from beginning to end. One may not with certainty predict when one will finish reading a book, but the pages have been written. Signs have been given. If one can read the signs as you could a fig tree casting its figs, one would know how close we are. One would know what comes next. -

At the time Christ spoke those words, He was yet mortal-the Son because of the flesh. Naturally, I have no proof to support my personal belief. -

I believe so. Jesus Christ is both the Father and the Son. They are one mind, one God, etc. given all that the Father hath. I certainly believe Christ knows. This is all His work. -
Good vs. bad. Good fruit vs. evil fruit...What Moroni and all the prophets mean by these terms goes back to the heart of the matter. What Christ wants when he's talking about good fruit is redeemed souls. Christ defined redemption to the brother of Jared: Because the bro of Jared's trial by faith had brought him to this point to converse with the Lord through the veil and because he believed Jesus Christ, he could no longer be kept from within the veil. Therefore he received the testimony of Jesus. It is the Lord's work and glory to "bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man" (Moses 1:39). To become a "son" or a "daughter" of Jesus Christ in this manner as defined by our Savior IS to become good fruit. Christ has born fruit in this way. And as we read further in chapter three, the brother of Jared no longer had faith because his faith had blossomed into the fruit of the "knowledge" of God, or as we read in v. 19: "he had faith no longer, for he knew, nothing doubting.." This is what Isaiah (53:10) talked about and what Abinadi expounded to King Noah: Thus we become "good fruit." We have received a ton of council and admonition from our Savior (beatitudes), and from all the prophets and apostles on how to be good disciples of Jesus Christ. We are to be meek, impart of our substance to the poor, serve our fellow man, etc, etc. That's all part of the equation, but it's all part of perfecting ourselves, or rather our faith unto knowledge. To "know" the Lord is a covenant relationship. That is the goal. That is what being "good fruit" means. And how do we know if we are doing it right? Nephi gave us the example and the pattern. He told us exactly how in 2 Nephi chapters 31 and 32, but I'll only quote a few verses to sum it up: We either walk the same walk as those who finished the walk or we continue remain in ignorance and darkness.

Jacob 5. It has 77 verses that span over 6 pages. Who was the briefest author in the Book of Mormon? -
I'm having serious lag time during my work week. Odd thing is, it stops on Fridays and before I blink, it's Monday again. So weird.

I have no love for President Obama or Hillary Clinton, other than that they are God's children as myself. After years of scripture study and my love for the gospel of Jesus Christ and the models, which He has given us from Moses to Hezekiah and all the way through to John the Beloved, if we only do it God's way, He will preserve us as a nation under God. David can still slay Goliath, but rather than going out to the front lines of battle anymore as covenant kings should, David has grown proud and is fooling around with Bathsheba. David has a hard road ahead of him.

A Gentile failing. Secret combinations have gotten above us. We were specifically given a warning to learn from someone else's mistake and have failed. The mighty nation will fall. It's only a matter of time before our desolating scourge is upon us.

Not in my ward or any ward that I've been in. Personally speaking, I can't stand the right/left paradigm. Both are wings of the same dirty bird. Doesn't matter which side you choose. The same puppet master pulls all the strings. Ether 8.

I contend that if we want to change America, we must do what the Lord commanded, D&C being a good starting point, especially among those of us who are an ensign to the nation. Spencer W. Kimball said it best. http://warlikepeople.com/

We do not have a specific date of this event, but it was some time after 320 years after Lehi left Jerusalem. Jacob, Nephi's brother, prophesied that it would happen--that his brethren would be driven out if they did not repent of their polygamous and sinful ways. Question: What is the shortest verse in the Bible and context? -
Please no! This country is going downhill faster than ever. No sense having a Mormon at the helm. Not that I agree with a number of his policies. Or any one else's anymore.
