I wish I could but stupidly forgot to update my Canadian immigration card in time. Waiting for my interview/new one to come in the mail by Christmas. We already had our thanksgiving here in Canada. But it seems, some American visitors are being dumb again, and saying "have a happy thanksgiving" when it happened a few weeks ago :)

To tell you the truth, Americans are getting dumber with time. Fourteen years ago, I was friends with a University of Washington Math professor. He said that the math skill level these students are entering the university is getting worse and worse. Out of those contracts, were a small minority of private contacts. I was asked to do guard duty at a ware house gate. The task required me to check each truck, make sure its empty before entering, and check the paperwork. From what the other guards said, this is the walmart contractor warehouse. The job from what they said was the worse contract because they drive us like slaves. The work was hard to keep up with. We would check in and out 150-200 trucks in a eight hour day. Think about it, that is alot of trucks in a single hour. One of the employee who worked in the guard shack was constantly sick from the stress. A previous guard quit due to anxiety from the job. On the day before Halloween, our back Friday, the yard filled up with sooo many trucks all 300 of them! that they backed up to the guard shack. I was asked by one of the company employees to walk down the road and check the trucks in. I was originally trained to never leave my guard post so said no cannot do that. A truck driver had gotten sick and was told to continue to drive. he got out of his truck feel to the ground, vomited blood and was semi unconscious. This is capitalism as its worst!

Lets discuss prevention. There are software blockers, DNS blockers and so on. Any takers?

I just shake my head. Retail employees fight "Black Friday creep" - CNN.com Now this is a little off topic, but discussed with corporate views of Christmas and wonder, what it would be like to spend time, in another country. A few weeks ago, I came across a video of a family being filmed for there Christmas gathering. The country was the Netherlands. The event looked so peaceful that I wonder, if there are families in these countries interested in hosting foreigners from other countries as guest? Has anyone heard of a program like this?

I respond by listening but it gets to the point, there is information overload..every day, like me. Men do not respond to well to emotional woman I know, I am one of them. The thing that you need to do, is seek counseling. He is probably very tired when he gets home and the last thing he wants to do is to get in a argument. BTW, what are some of these typical arguments?

This is a true story. The son of a good family friend had literately grown up with another girl since the second grade. They felt they were a perfect match for each other. They were engaged in there early 20s. One day, she suddenly broke it off. She stopped seeing him and never responded to his calls. The son was heart broken and cried as well as the mom. One day, he injured his eye and was sent to the hospital. He met a lovely single nurse and feel in love with her. He proposed and they were married less then a year latter. So while she may have permanently broken off the temple sealing or marriage, there is some one else out there for you. All I can say is WOW, lots of lines formed. I am wondering with the first few days of long car lines, were those who were forming long lines on foot, because there cars ran out of fuel? I was one pic, where the gas station had no power and some one sitting on a chair next to a hand pump pumping fuel out of the in ground tank to people waiting in line. In every single one of these pictures, not a single picture of a bike passing by. USA is to consumed with fuel addiction. I do but also, keep it down. A few good reasons. One, if you have a series of stop lights ahead of you, watch the yellows. You could be 500 feet away or 1,000 feet away from the yellow, do you self a favor, take the foot off the throttle and coast to the light. If you are lucky, you wont have to use your brakes. This is called hypermiling and save fuel this way. Second, posted speed limits are set for the time/reaction limits us humans are normally able to respond to. The more traffic in a area, the less reaction time to stop. My truck generally does not like to go over the highway speed anyway. It is way under powered by, gets fantastic fuel economy on the diesel it consumes. Every day, some one is always passing me because my truck is a slug to accelerate up hills or faster then the highway speeds.

I get annoyed by people who have there head down into there phones to often. You want to say something aka, talk, but to busy in there phones. Not only that...some people are going to restaurants to eat! Cell towers only power so long on diesel generators then die. A hamradio can be powered with a peddle bike and generator or hand crank. I spent a few years of my life in portland, most of it as a teen and adult in Washington not to far from Tacoma a better part of my life and the last ten in Vancouver BC Canada. We all have the rain issue. You get used to it after all, it is what makes everything here green and gives us cheap hydro power. Winters are mid where most days in the 40s with rain or snow in the 30s. We have salmon, forestry,mountains and the ocean at my back door with one of the biggest rivers down the hill from me. We have the largest Sturgon in the world. If you like wildlife, down town shopping, skiing, or being on the beach, everything is within 30-40 min from here. Not unusall to see kids with skiis on the city buses in a city of 1.2 million. The down side of course, is since Vancouver was rated #1 most livable city in the world to live in the mid 2000s, is the cost of real-estate skyrocketed to one of the most unaffordable. My city grew 70 percent in ten years. Traffic is getting horrible now.

She had to do this for her health. there was no other reason. She just has those times, where I would rather sit outside or go for a long walk. Last night, I was half asleap on the master bed and she took some of my that I laid out "3 pants" on her side of the bed and she through them at my head saying "I DON'T want those on my side of the bed" Thanks!! I said in my mind. That's my wife for you. She used to play the stereo, tv and computer in the master bedroom till 12 or 1 am while I am trying to sleap I told her "ENOUGH" felt like tossing everything out the window. She has gotten better now, when I ask her to turn off the tv but will give the excuse.."when the program is over"

pam only the way she treats me. She has issues with male authority. Seen it several times. Never really met a woman in my life who thinks she is almost 100 percent right most of the time even if, there is no answer about a subject she will make up a answer. It would be nice if she just would say "I dont know" for once if I ask her something. I think her issue is being in control and wanting control. I do remember years ago, she cringed and in a deep voice said "I HATE IT when I am not in control" this may explain the anti male authority issues she has. Two Christmas ago, she brought the dog over to her brother-inlaws moms place and I was out side while she was inside the house. I did not hear it, but was informed her dad SCREAMING at her for bring the dog over when she was exclusively told not to because her mom has allergies event after told two or three times. when the Brother-inlaws mother told me this, I eventually asked her about this incident. Her response was with a low voice to me "What a Gripe he is!" as if she did not care what he requested. She does have some good qualities. her issues are not nearly as severe as a few years ago "I read there was something called the seven transitions of a marriage". But for being separated, Cannot untill the right job comes up where moving..would be the right reason to. It would be much easier to make more money in a place that does not cost a fortune then living as if I was single because. If my wife decided to move with me she never would. I know, my wife would never leave her job. She has never lived more then a kilometre radius from here in her entire life. Back to the original subject, As for the office issue in any work place, I have heard of office romances "very bad thing in my opinion" BUT when the wife or husband is married and the customer or client knows this and disregards it and makes the comment "If you ever leave your husband, I am willing to take you out on a date". she does not tell patients about me that is a privaty issues but, I think what these clients are saying "I you have the hots for me, leave your husband I will be waiting in arms for you" and make some kind of sexual advance, I feel like punching the guys lights out :)

Actually, I am very right about her weight disability for the following reasons. - Our complex had three woman who ate way more then normal, had diabetes and then died as a result of complications to Diabetes. - I told my wife, her weight was causing joint inflammation. Eventually, her ACL Snapped trying to do simple jumping jacks. She was in constant pain and 11 months or waiting, he other ligaments failed walking down the stairs. She screamed in pain. Crawled up stairs, passed out on toilette and fell over onto the ground. She went to surgery two weeks latter and could not work for another two months. - doctor told her she was borderline diabetic with sky-rocketing blood pressure. - She had to go though months of painful therapy - She eventually started to regain leg streangh and eventually retuned to work. - She went on a new weight loss and DIET with exercise change in her life where her food intake was SUBSTANTIALLY reduced. Her weight has gone from 250bls for a 5ft 5 inch woman to 190 bls now. So, you tell me, is it worth it to go though her previous crap because of her excessive eating and lack of exercise No, its not worth it! I can go thought a long list of reasons what has contributed to the increase in the American obesity epidemic and how unwittingly Americans are eating the wrong foods which are contributing to it. My wife is proof of what NOT to eat now. Now I have to fix the way she treats me at times ...that is much harder to change.

She wont change... she will lie her way though it then point the issues at me when she is the control freek. BTW, she was almost arrested once by taking a kids bike away from a child into the building because he was not to bicycle on a path of our complex then called 911 when I was asleep!! That is abuse of First Responder usage. I cannot do most things in my residence with out her expressed permission! Seems I hear that word almost daily. What I really need to do is place hidden camera in the house to record these events. It would be the only way my family and her friends would then understand the true reality of our relationship. Some people are very very good at hiding there true identify of there character when under question.

When I said "She does her best to reveal her weaknesses to the outside world" I was saying she would NOT reveal any weakness to anyone outside the marriage or her personal life. She ALWAYS have a answer for something. Anyway, its a 4 person office and she does a really good job at work being the most qualified and licensed person. I just still cannot believe a year ago, she tossed a rubber on the tv night stand and said some sarcastic comment about it. Anyway, I am sure this type of thing has happened in the past to other people. I wonder how guys or gals would think if there spouse brought these things home.

John, she would laugh at me then joke around and say, "maybe you can be replaced by one of those men" She does her best to reveal her weaknesses to the outside world. But she will badmouth her brother and say things about me to other people.

But also, it happens at my wifes work place with the patients. Last year, this Hungarian patient had provided her with candy, flowers and then eventually a rubber. Made comments saying Hungarian men have better sex and so on. I asked him does he not even have a GF or wife, she said he did but she passed away. Last year, he got married and though, good, thats the last I will hear about him. But nope, Gave the spouse a big vase of flowers on her birthday which she brought home. She only had one other vase of flowers that were 1/10 the size. I think this patient cheated on his most recent wife and probably dumped/separated/divosed him. If he has not left her, I wonder if her wife found how about giving a huge vase of flowers how would she feel? BTW, I can see a small vase is fine...but a huge one of flowers?? MM I just wonder if this is common in other work places? Presents to your co-workers or your clients is fine but huge amount of flowers?

Say your husband or wife is a bit on the attractive side and the customers who are attracted to that person makes comments indicating "they want them" in some kind of relationship. Say the husband or wife excepted Rosses, candy, and in one case, a condom from that customer or patient. What would you say/do to your other half if this was the case? I know some people, avoid people of the opposite sex who are attractive if they are looking for a future spouse to avoid this pitfall.
