Top Tricks And Other Secrets Lurking At Your Supermarket.

And clocks are purposely not on display because they want you there as long as possible. -
Let's not forget the young women and RS women who alsö surf porn sites. Okay, at the moment I am rocking my youngest to sleep so I cam't make this long. However, I will say that porn addiction is extrenely rare and even in tose cases there is a dispute in psychology if one can really come up with valid diagnostic criteria to actually label "porn addiction".

I don't know, if your bishop is not willing to act like a Taliban and issue a fatwah on your husband then just keep looking. Men are not supposed to gawk at women -- not all do I can assure you. I know a guy who is in a commited relationship and he doesn't check out all the girls at all. He respects his boyfriend way too much to do that.

Sorry ladies: "Now, this restoration shall come to all, both old and young, both bond and free, both male and female, both the wicked and the righteous; and even there shall not so much as a hair of their heads be lost; but every thing shall be restored to its perfect frame" (Alma 11:42 - 44).

I take it that you mean leg hair ? Or maybe that is long hair Of course I am joking but I dare people here who also participate in more liberal forums to cut this and paste it -- I'll bet some people will actually start debating the merits of it. Also, if having body hair is in any way counter to good hygene then shouldn't men shave their bodies like the actors in the movie 300 did?

With all the hysteria about global warming maybe this is an idea that will come soon: What, you may ask, is the connection between the lingerie industry, the porn industry and global warming? Well, it is hard to ignore the impact that fashion has had on what the perception of what is desirable and what isn't. Think about it, do you think your great grandmother shaved her legs when styles were for dresses to cover your legs? Of course not. Now with all the talk of social responsibility we need to look to making sacrifices to save Mother Earth. So what is the problem you ask? Simple, in the last decade or so the lingerie industry has evolved from something that was a little naughty to something that is now mainstream. Undershort-style underwear has been replaced by the all-too-popular thong and to top it off dresses are a bit more revealing of the body. To add to the problem the internet has made porn an almost mainstream phenomena in which body hair is almost a taboo. Whether it is men viewing hairless (below the neck) or women the idea of hairless body's is becoming the norm. Now how is this trend of all-body shaving contributing to the problem of global warming? Simple, most women spend a great deal of time in the shower removing hair. Think of all the demands on energy output (as well as water consumption) this causes! If a woman shaves even once a week that is maybe 10 additional minutes with the hot water going. Multiply that times 51 weeks a year and you have 8 and a half hours per year of the how water going for every female under 45 who does this (and in a country the size of the USA that's a lot of water). So what is the solution? Industries now promoting the hairless look should voluntarily switch to featuring only models who do not shave at all -- and if they don't our liberal politicians need to figure out some sort of "bare tax" to solve the problem. Over time maybe people's perceptions of beauty will change and the "natural" look will be in vogue. On the other hand, long hair on the head is as much a problem. Even men probably spend as much time washing their head hair as they do the rest of the body. So women should be encouraged to cut their hair very short (scissors can be used so you don't have to worry about increased energy needs). With short hair time in the shower will further be curtailed -- and Mother Earth will thank you. So full body hair coupled with short head hair could drastically reduce energy needs and water consumption. The great thing is that many women in Nancy Pelosi's district in San Francisco are probably already on the cutting edge of this vital trend and they don't even know it -- and how they are helping the environment. Sacrifice is needed now! I even heard that Eskimos are drowning because the ice is getting thinner. I have no idea if it is true but when global warming hysteria is concerned that is really not important, is it?

Dogs Are Better Than Cats...they Talk :-)
Fiannan replied to StrawberryFields's topic in General Discussion
For pets or eating? I have talked with a lot of people who have eaten dog meat and I'd say about half said they really enjoyed it (I have had it twice and it's okay). One person I know has eaten cat and dog and says cat tastes a lot better but it does have kinda a gamie taste about it (which he liked). As for pets I'd have to go with dogs -- they will give their lives for the family they live with which no cat would do. Also, they play a lot better than cats. Besides, cats are an environmental disaster as they wipe out scores of native birds, amphibians, reptiles, small mammals, etc. -
Question About Something My Husband Said
Fiannan replied to sharyll's topic in LDS Gospel Discussion
Then again, wouldn't the people of that day consider people from other worlds as sons of God? -
You know, the trend today is for women to shave all their body hair off (legs, underarms, uh...lower abdominal area, etc.). This is usually done while showering. Now this trend has been promoted through the fashion industry (i.e. intimate apparel doesn't generally go well with ample body hair) so maybe the fashion industry should start featuring undergarmet and regular dressed models who don't shave? Just think of the savings in warm water.

Thing is that this insults all Muslims. http://www.hvk.org/articles/1098/0104.html Now let's pretend someone writes a fictional story and takes the wives of Joseph Smith and uses their names as prostitutes. Would LDS people like it? No way! Now pretend that some president in the future honors that author with the congressional medal of freedom. Would LDS people like that? No. Would they take it as an insult if the work he did mentioning Joseph Smith's wives was the highpoint of his career? No. And what would make it especially madening is that it would be interpreted as a slap in the face of Mormonism. Now can we expect Muslims to see it any differently? I thought the cartoon controversy involving Denmark was pathetic -- the way many Muslims went crazy over some editorial cartoons. However, this is far different. If the Brits were the only ones in Iraq then so be it but ouor men and women are now being placed in a more dangerous position because of an incredibly stupid move by the Brits.

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment/f...icle1951462.ece This would be akin to a country making a national holiday for Bin Ladin-- in regards to the emotional impact that would be felt by Americans! Rushdie writes a book that many Muslims see as an attack on their prophet and then Britain makes the guy a knight? What are the British thinking anyway? And not only will their soldiers be put at risk in Iraq but US soldiers will be as well. If Bush had half a brain he would issue a statement regreting the British move, but I doubt he will.

R-rated humor. I thought it was humorous, but probably wouldn't reference it with church friends. 70% probably would find it funny, but is it worth offending the 15-30% who won't appreciate it (keep in mind that some LDS won't watch The Passion of the Christ because of the rating, and some fundamentalists won't because of the Catholic overtones)? Perhaps -- I would totally endorse Passion of the Christ (I had my teens watch it a while back). I also had my teens watch Flags of Our Fathers since they need to know the reason their grandfather will not talk about his experiences in WW2. Ratings are a funny thing though. They only apply to the US and are more market driven than morality driven. I don't even look at ratings on movies anymore as they are meaningless (incidentely I lent 2 R rated movies to our Relief Society president last night and have no problems with that). As for the Paris Goes to Jail video I would put it at PG and if I were a teacher in an American public school I would definently share it with a class for a laugh. So I don't see anything wrong with it (even if teens watch it).

Fiannan, that wasn't funny...it was discusting! I agree. Edited to take out the link. Doesn't seem right with the content and language.... Strange, but it's not worth griping about -- I found it hillarious and poking fun at popular culture. Oh well.

Someone e-mailed this link to me yesterday: Do any of you have funny videos you would like to share? Please do so, laughter is a great way to increase the workings of the immune system.

Sorry, I love Rosie. I think she is fabulous. Did you see the new Arts School she just built for inner-city children in New York that just opened? Why isn't the press covering that? She is an honest, loving, energetic, and compassionate person who isn't afriad to speak her mind and I love that. She gives more love than you'll ever see, because all the press does is show the "fat, loud-mouthed lesbian." I think she's right-on about the war and the Bush administration. I'm sure I'm a lone voice here. But I defend Rosie, even when others do not. Emma My favorite Rosie YouTube: Emma You know, Rosie got away with what many Asians considered an ethnic slur against Chinese but Don Imus got fired. Wonder why? On another note, personally I couldn't care less about who is hosting a game show or CBS News. However, I wonder what would happen to the ratings of Naked News if Rosie were hired there an an anchor?

A waiting list for monks? Don't Catholic monks have to be celibate? Weird. As for conservative churches growing and liberal ones shrinking, one big factor is that conservative churches tend to have a low regard for birth control -- so more babies equals more members. Reform Judaism is dying out, while Orthodox Judaism is growing for that very reason. In fact, I'll bet polygamist Mormons have more babies than mainstream LDS (in recent years many LDS have tried to have an affair with the world on the issue of birth control). hmm here was me thinking religion was about more than sex - and I think you made my point with the monastry, its not exactly growing because the monks are having babies:) Charley Actually, sexual energy is very associated with the creative process that brought everything into existence. It was the Catholic philosophers (borrowing from Paganistic, not Christian) ideals that made sex into something to look down upon (something that is actually not the case in either Judaism or Islam -- or Mormonism if one really examines it). I believe many monks are practicing a form of escapism (running away from life or running away from sexual appitites that they hope such a lifestyle will cure). I could go into a lot more detail but even with a psychologically-based analysis it would still come across anti-Catholic which I would not wish to do.
