  1. Don't feel bad Pushka... I just read this thread.... I had fun TRYING to answer the questions.... I did get some right... then when I read M's answers I either felt.... ALRIGHT! or DUH!.....lol all in fun, all in fun. Thanks Dr T for the smiles :)
  2. Blessed.... I am glad to see you back on board! I am sorry about your losing a loved one... I know that's never easy especially on a holiday. SF, you know my heart is always with you and your family... Pushka... I am also sorry about your legs... wish I could wiggle my nose and make all the hurt, pain and suffering go away for everyone. ----------------------------------- I TRIED to make a different reply with this next statement...out of respect but it wouldn't let me... I had to laugh when I saw who did "SUDDENLY IT'S CHRISTMAS".....Loudon Wainwright III .... I was just talking about another song of his ...."Dead Skunk in the Middle of the Road". Now how often do you think or even mention the name Loudon Wainwright III ? It was twice in one week for me!
  3. SOOOOO did my dad (spank) ... I remember "WOULD you like something to cry about"lol... what was I going to say? "Oh yes please "? ROFL ohhhh and the ever popular..."this is going to hurt me worse than it hurts you" LIES ...ALL LIES!!!!
  4. I think the last CD I bought was online.... Luka Bloom (Irish Folk).... or it could have been the Trace Adkins, Nickleback, or Johnny Mathis Christmas Album I picked up in the last couple months. Music is a weakness... I like it ... I buy it. :)
  5. Funny you should ask Dancer.... I bought some Christmass music at a yard sale several weeks ago (in September)... listened to Christmas songs for hours while I drove home. I have been known to listen to Christmas music in June if the need arises I see Christmas songs like church hymns... they make me feel good when I'm down, give me hope, inspiration and ..... well, I know the words to many- so I can sing along to entertain myself

  12. ROFL LisaJo....thanks for sharing I take it Utah is big on hunting and football?
  13. Thanks SF :) I think that story is like a talk in church.... people will hear different things that will apply to them. I like the fact that the man did what the Lord told him to do, and when doubt was put into his mind by satan, did he stop completly? NO, he decided to take things to the Lord. I think that satan really does take advantage of the times when we get discouraged in our efforts, casting doubts and causing us to question the Lord. We do have to remember who we are and where we came from and that it is our job to go to Him in prayer, humble ourselves, and listen to what we are told. Is it okay if we feel abandoned? I say that the feeling of abandonment is a test of our faith.... what are we going to do with that feeling? I think the best thing to do is decide what you want in your life.... the feeling of pain, sorrow, anger and seperation from the spirit? OR take a stand and fight to get the feeling of peace, love and happiness back into your life. I have lived thru a time feeling abandoned by the Lord..... it wasn't fun. I didnt' like it at all, I didn't like feeling empty inside.... so I took a stand and fought to get it back, never wanting to lose it again..... And I was rewarded with peace, love and happiness back into my life :)
  14. I'm really liking this thread.... haven't had a lot of time to read a lot anymore...but I'm glad I caught this one :) "We all need to incorporate more badinage into our lives" HA! I did it!!!!! :)

  19. Oh SF, I nearly cried when I read the first one.... but I laughed out loud on this one!... your right.... it WOULD be a great idea for a commercial......lol."Actual events.... not paid actors!" As for the other ways to use duct tape... I will keep (most) of those ideas in the back of my mind! LOL I have seen prom dresses and tux's made from duct tape.... very inventive. I can honestly say....if you can't duct tape it or chicken wire it back together...it's done for. Gotta love that duct tape
  20. I have no problem with immigration to or from Canada..... The people I know of who come down here dont' have a problem working with the rules and regs or our country... As most of us "Yanks" would follow your rules and regs in your country. I think that the only problem we have up north is the terrorists, and the drug dealers who take advantage of Canada's good nature and use the country as a means to gain entrance into ours. I love Canada, and I would like to visit and be welcomed :)
