ok I need some help Im teaching the class chapter 17 on the Priesthood. so the priesthood is power Gods power which men grown in, most men dont realize the importantance of this power and how strong it can be. But as a woman who is single, no husband, no sons, I know she can get a Priesthood blessing as well, But if there is no priesthood around and a woman has faith her faith can do miracles too, womans faith grows in the use of the power of God, just like the Priesthood so how do u explain this when there might be new converts in the class or nonmembers why men hold the priesthood and woman dont? is it just as simple as God gives each sex different roles....???? Iguess Im confussed on how to explain this.....please help in simple words.....thank you.

you know the new members feel the same way out of place, they need alot of tlc, you can start doing fhe with them, or have a scripture class of the bk of mormon helping them to learn, understand and fit in. you can also hang out with them do activites with them just a suggestion.

It will work out just fine have trust + faith you can practice to make u comfortable

I never heard of a missionary acting as a branch pres. before. I've only heard of branch pres acting asa bishop like in a branch instead of a ward.

oh yea u can download your scriptures on the phone too. I forgot cause Im not tech savory and I am older. I use the the church on line Life of the prophets too its lorenzo snow, eliza snow is his sister. If i have to prepair a lesson i use both the on line where i can underline what i want too but i prefer to use the book so i can write in it its just easier for me....so its your prefrance. p.s. please forgive me on my spelling I am not good at it lol...no spell check on here lol... look at all your options and deside what will work best for you and your situation. with the ipad you can listen too and read. yep so many options

I went inactive as well, but im back in full force and I am happier now then I ever been. The best thing for me was to push myself to go. It wasn't easy cause Satan and his followers want to keep us out of the church, we have to fight them. I thought like this I have to push my self to work ever day, well if I can do that, whats more important then that?? Going to church is, my eternal progression is so I pushed myself and I am so happy i'm back and finally feel active again. Theirs nothing better then that! My advice is to just go! Dont feel oblicated to do anything, just go to go, til your ready,remember people are people and no one in the church is perfect. This is my thoughts No body is more important then me but I am not better or more important then anyone alse. Make the effort and the Lord will help you to do it and will bless you. Its a blessing to be able to feel His closeness, His love. He wants the best for us all.

you can also download all the scriptures, plus the hyum book, plus priesthood book, etc on a ipad as well so thats another option. the choice is up to you it doesnt matter. i have the quad and triple was a gift its in large print and heavier. i like the quad best but thinking of getting a ipad just because it wont weigh much.

You can if you want to go on a Ft. mission You have to wait a yr before you can go I believe. But you can be a member missionary, and you can ask to go out with the missionarys. I beleieve the Lord is hastening His work.

First thing is to stop watching porn. Get your mind on other things. GOdly things and try to stop this action. If you stop and start again, then try again, dont give up on yourself. Pray to Heavenly Father for His help. You might want to get a Priesthood Blessing. A branch Pres. is the same thing as a bishop go speak with him. He's there to help you.

First I'd like to say congradulations on your up coming baptism!! This is wonderful news. In college or out of college, at work etc.its really the same thing. Have your daily am prayers, pray over your meals,and before you go to bed. Ask the Lord for His help. He wants to hear from you, and he wants you to ask him, and learn to put your trust and faith in him, read the scriptures, and go to church. Talk to your new Bishop let him know u are a new convert, join in the churchs actitivies, they might have a family home evening group you can join and be a part of. Make friends in your current ward and the one you will be going too. Strive to live the gospel. You can do it, I know you can. Will it be hard, it might at times. You will have temptations, others might put u down for your choice of faith, dont let them get to you. This will not just happen in your college yrs but throu out your work life, etc. Know that GOd will help you with all things. YOu just put the effort in as much as you can, and He will add his support, help, and love....:)
