YES!!!! I will be there with bells on!!! Soulie is one of my dearest friends here. Also FunkyFool will be flying in just for this occasion and she is staying with me. I am so so excited! I have also put a call into Lindy, cross your fingers and toes that she will be able to come too!

Anotherbrick I have a son who is now about your age and he also could not go because health reasons. I have seen discrimination for as many if not more guys towards him than I have girls. Have you had your patriarchal blessing yet? If you have not, and are worthy, I would encourage you to get it. I think sometimes in our youth we are much harder on ourselves than need me. I have seen young people in the church actually place themselves outside of the church because they feel like they don’t belong. I agree that you should continue to seek what is important to you and be true to the faith. I believe that the Lord will pick up the slack once we have done all that we can do.

I tried facebook very briefly. I just didn't like that they force you to use your real name. I don't like when I google my name to see it pop up on facebook. I deleted that account within a short time and I prefer being here as StrawberryFields. I wonder what would happen if I googeld that...

I know why the restaurants and roads are crowded... People can finally afford gas for their cars. We saw more people on the road this past weekend than we have for month’s possibly even years on this holiday.

On the news last night they said the tickets were free but they were going very fast. I have mine.

LOL Ben. How do you think this will go now that it has been declared that we are officially in a recession? What about the depression that could follow. We recently shifted our IRA's into commodities... We have planned to wait it out and get with the upswing or recovery... In changing these funds we have also gone with a fund manager. Maybe I should just keep the news off for the next few years.

I agree with you Countrygirl66 but I also know that we are possibly heading into a depression soon. This is the worst market we have seen for 100 years. I wonder how long it will take to recover from this? All we have to go on here is what has happened in the past.

Nope. I just heard him mention that my tax rate would be going up up up! If I cash it in for 2008 I know what it will be and so if feels less of a risk. When the taxes do go up I wonder which year it will take hold...

He has touched many people with his words. I hope when I go I will have made a difference in at least a few lives for good.

In Nov 2007 we decided to go with a fund manager and they pulled us out of the market on our 401 which has saved us from losing so much money. We do have other money in IRA's that we have shifted around but with the new tax laws going into effect and the market not going up we just may take the hit and take it out.
