  1. You know your wife better than we do. What kind of thing gets the best reaction from her. If you go out to dinner a lot like we do it is nice but doesn't stand out. If my hubby were to surprise me with something different like a train ride on the Heber Creeper or something out of the ordinary that would thrill me.:) After being married a few years you need to keep her guessing. Good Luck and I want a full report.
  2. I saw the movie just a few weeks ago and I really enjoyed it.:)
  3. Thanks for letting us know BrotherBear. You will continue to be in my thoughts. Hugs, SF
  4. I have seen them all and each are good in their own way. If you can get tickets to "O" go see it. I loved the fact that it had the element of water.
  5. Seriously, I have friends who went to Alta and it was just as brutal as the rest of Utah HS. I have to wonder why you want to go to HS in Utah. From your OP it sounds like you are choosing this.
  6. That was so much fun to watch!!! Here is the link for the REAL Opening. YouTube - boarderbryan's Channel What a neat kid!:)
  7. I am also having difficulty forgiving someone who holds authority in the LDS Church. This individual thinks they appear spotless before the world but we know what he is capable of. Our family has been deeply wounded because this man skirted some very important safety issues in his business. When called out on the table and fined he held a secret meeting made promises (that apparently he hasn't kept), and walked away like nothing happened. To this day he blames a child for something he could have totally prevented. I know we must forgive him even though he has never even admitted he was in the wrong. At the time this happened (years ago), he was serving as a State Pres. It in my goal that as a family we forgive him. I plan on reading The Peacekeeper and sharing what I learn with those who need the healing from this. Loving wife, I share this with you to let you know you are not alone. If you ever need a venting session I am here.
  8. Bini, Did you forgive him before or after he apologized? The reason why I am asking is for personal reasons and not for judgment or anything that you did or did not do. I admire you either way. :)
  9. What a great topic! I am kinda like Willow, I have worn the same kind for more than 20+ years. I have tried the cotton poly round neck but it was lacking in coverage and coming untucked. Have they improved the fabrics they use? It seems to me that some wash up better than others and this is why I have stuck with the mesh. I also need a tall and I am not sure they all come in tall. I also like the square neck because it comes in line with my bra, what have you ladies found as far as different necks and having them not show with your blouses? I wear a lot of cami's with a button up the front blouse and don't like to worry about what the cami doesn't cover. I am ready to try something else but not sure I can feel right about wearing it over my bra. When I first went through the temple that had just introduced TWO PIECE. I can't imagine wearing the one piece. They seem to always be improving and I wouldn't mind stepping out of my comfort zone if it provides more comfort. :)
  10. Sure, we get a lot taxes taken out every check. When you are in the highest tax bracket you pay more taxes than many would dream of paying. I like to hang onto some of the money until all of the checks and balances come together. We used to get really excited to get a refund from over paying our taxes until we sat back and thought about that one.
  11. Gwen, Thank you so MUCH! I think I will be taking on that phrase... "I have been called to support the YSA." Wow, that sure does feel better, especially knowing my personality!!! I like to be one to get in and PLAY too.
  12. Thanks Sweetie! I think I might consider the once a month thing and make it really cool.
  13. We have actually written checks (LARGE ones) to pay the government and mailed them April 14th. Wise or Unwise? BTW, we always make sure there is no penalties or interest included.
  14. As I mentioned in earlier I am the YSA Leader in our ward. I still looking for ideas to do on a ward level. I live in Utah and there are plenty of single wards around but many prefer the family ward. In our ward we have about 30 people who are in the YSA group. This weekend, I got a call from our Stake Adviser and he suggested doing a Sunday School class for the YSA in our ward. He also suggested doing an activity on Monday Night's for FHE. I need ideas and will ask for ideas at a social I will be hosting next week but thought I might also ask here to see what you guys think of those suggestions.
  15. (((BrotherBear))), I wish you the best with your testing.
  16. I have not been one to get very involved in posts over the last few years and for good reasons. It just so happens that I stumbled onto this thread for the first time today and realized that I have been referenced in a "thread". I had misshalf contact me and I gave her the information she requested but didn't know her request came from this thread. I am not here to convince anyone of anything but my experience with HCG was a good one. I lost quite a bit of weight and I too got off the only medications I take. I feel good about my time on The HCG Protocol but it isn't for everyone. I would recommend that anyone interested in the protocol to do their homework, check with their doctor and then proceed as their heart directs them. We need to be our own masters. I am once again wanting to continue on with what I started last year and I will do so this time with a different approach. I want to sculpt and tone along with losing more pounds. I will do so with a carefully selected 1800-1900 calorie diet and fitness training. HCG worked for me and I don't regret becoming a healthier me from doing the very strict protocol. This time I also want to gain strength and endurance and I will need more calories to get me there.
  17. WOW!!! I just read seven pages about this. I think Pams date could become the next Twilight Series.
  18. I broke my wrist once and I hated the whole cast thing. I couldn't even do my own hair. My injury happened at a cemetery to bad these brakes can't be attributed to something really cool. I hope he heals quickly.
  19. Happy Birthday Outshined! Where are you these Days? ?:birthdayballoon::birthdayballoon::birthdayballoon:
  20. Yeah, you are right. Between the three of us and then Pam grabbing the waiter for the picture there was a lot going on.... OH, The Memories!!!
  21. We didn't get the goosping on camera, that was done on the sly. We do have a great shot of Elphie taking a near "whiplash spin" as she was turning to see Honor smiling and point her finger.
  22. What? Are you saying you didn't enjoy it even a tiny bit? Your face told another story. Anyway, I am glad you have come to terms with it, I mean with us being bosom buddies and all.
  23. Thanks for those who replied to my question. I think I will see it now. :)
