The people that invent should be rewarded for their ideas. Without inventing they would not exist. The workers should be paid a fair wage for their own skills (labor) and treated fairly. If the employer does not treat his employees fairly, they are free to seek employment elsewhere. By the same token, workers that do not perform as expected should be released if the employer should so choose. Workers should be rewarded for outperforming expectations, and should not be rewarded bonuses if agreed upon benchmarks are not met.Each according to his ability and contribution. The government should not be telling a company how much to charge for it's product. If priced unfairly or not quality the people do not have to buy it. You get what you pay for, and get paid for what you give.

I am almost done reading Atlas Shrugged and have enjoyed it immensely.There are so many parallels in it that I have recently heard someone call Ayn Rand a prophet. As I have been reading it, I have had thoughts like "how can someone fall for this carp" and then hear the exact same thing on tv news.

We do sell on Amazon, but prefer people order directly from us. The main reason we sell on Amazon is to offer a Kindle format for e-books. However, Amazon takes a big chunk, so we would rather have people order directly from our website.

it would be cool if there was a forum here for members to seek computer help. i know there are lots of talented people here.

we choose this option when we sell books from our publishing company because we know how much it cost. we factor in the cost of the box and shipping anywhere in the US into the cost of the 2 books we have published so for. We have no shipping charges added. Of course the e-book versions have no shipping, too.

i ship my wife's book by media mail in a box for only 2.77. not bad for a book larger than MoDoc. we do not use bubble wrap.

i got pulled over a couple of weeks ago, was speeding and didn't realize cuz i was getting a bottle of water from my backpack. it was 10:30 at night. when i realized how fast i was going, i immediately slowed down only to notice i was approaching a state trooper from behind who was in the right lane. as i passed him, couldn't slow down fast enough to keep from it happening since he was behind a slow semi, he pulled be himd me. after i passed the truck and moved to the right lane, he moved behind me again and hit his lights. i pulled over and had my lic and ins out when he got to the door. he asked if i knew why he stopped me (duh). i said yes, and explained what had happened. he asked if i knew how fast i was going...about 80(limit 70). he said he would be back in a minute. came back, said he was giving me a warning only cuz i was honest with him and have a clean record, and asked me to slow down please. i thanked him and we went on our way.

very simple...i'm happily married with 2 children....i prayed for it and i have it.

I thought it was the presiding member of The Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. I did not think age was a factor, just a natural result of time passing on ones way up the ladder.

I think you would have to be uncomfortably close to tell the difference...someone familiar likely to know, but may still be assuming.

yes they could request it....or i could start my own website called theunofficialcorporatebignamecompany.com with a mission statement to allow anyone to say the are reps of a company without them having to prove they are. mind you, i'm not saying someone should...only that someone could.

thats if someone wanted to start an 'official' page....i could start a page called exmcdonaldsemployees without getting permission from McD's or anyone else... it may not be official, but i could do it.

"my ward" which we decided to stop going to, has bishopric posted as sentry at the chapel doors, which are kept closed, even tho the meeting hasn't started. they open the door for you to allow you entry. afterward they dismiss the sunday school teachers, and ushers dismiss you row by row from the front row...like at a funeral. the second week they did that, my family stood up with the sunday school teachers and left the chapel. this past week we went to my mother-in-law's ward instead.

if the hard drive is blank, and i run drivescrubber again before i install windows i am fairly certain i will be safe. drive scrubber runs 3 passes, then a final pass all zeros. i dont bother with the DoD 7 pass wipe. i do this any time i think i may have gotten a trojan or virus.

i'm wooting, pogoing,sweepstaking, and other assorted browsing, and watching scooter play with puzzles.

gosh...i took mine to a shop the other day, should i be worried? oh wait...the hard drive is brand new, and i was just having them check over the computer i just built from scratch, making sure i did everything right before firing it up. i think i'm safe.

I wonder if President Monson had been reading Atlas Shrugged ?
