  1. We the Jews wish to worship the one true GOD, and not Religion.
  2. LMAO! the world is so upside down, we are all looking for answeres and those who don't look are satisfied.
  3. you sound like you're religious and spiritual..listen, don't be so hard on yourself, you have great qualities going your way, your young and single, your gilrie will come your way, who knows maybe she's got some other emotional distrtion in her life as well...anwyay. never lose hope.
  4. Tyler, are you a member of the lds chruch? if so your under his yoke if you allow him to have that power over you, or you can call out to the LORD from zion (your heart) and the name above all names will guide and protect you and he will open the widows of heaven for you... he will lead and protect you..if you seek religion you can follow your bishop and his prophet but if you want freedom that comes from the Lord Jesus Christ, seek first the kingdom of heaven and all else will be added on to you. best luck!!! cause I have no luck
  5. I read that book too! mainly because I was having marital problems and my love language is words of affirmation and acts of kindness..I wasn't getting anyof them anyway pray and let the Lord guide you. His plans are for his children to live in harmony :) I'm currently standing strong to my believes and it's been hard especially when my marriage has gone haywire but I know for sure that GOD's plans are for us to prosper...I still believe :)
  6. I see everyone's view and I smile...i find it cute because we all are running the race and it this is good. According to the Bible GOD (Heavenly Father is Spirit), and Jesus Christ is the visible image of the invisible GOD (perfect). The Father and I are one..said the Lord. One heart, One mind, One purpose that we too get to know our Heavenly Father by and through the power of the Holy Ghost...He knew where he came from and where he was going (Jesus our Lord). He came to show us the way back to the Father, because we were with the Father just like he was with the Father. Being christ like means so much more than the naked eye can tell that's why we must be born of water and spirit. Christ clearly pointed out to the pharasees, ye are gods, but they accussed him of blasphamy... However he himself never exalted himself as being the Father or taking the place of our Heavenly Father he alwasy humbly, modestly and meekly said spke only what he knew in the best way to make us understand...He clearly said to Thomas my God is your God, so he himself admits to Hierarchy...So now he holds a Glorified body and is now sitting on the right hand of Heavenly Father in the heavenly realms...we can never take the place of our Lord Jesus Christ, but he clearly said we can be just like him..with GOD all things are possible, greater is the Spirit in us, and greater things we will do in his name...we are continuously being molded/polished/perfected...sure we have a termporal body with it's seasons but the spirit is eteranal. Anyway, I speak only what I've lived and experinced according to the Spirit (what the Spirit has revealed to me in my walk/journey).
  7. I'm not a professional, but I can say this, You are a blessed man. For you to stand right with GOD and find someone in life to spend the rest of time with here on earth...pray earnestly and let the Holy Spirit guide you :)
  8. PrettyRose, with all that Heavenly Father has given you, why not place into actions his teachings and love for you? civil marriage not temple? He wasn't looking for eternal marriage with you from the begining...I feel for you, but GOD wants the best for you, a strong Godly Man in your life and not one who is a coward.
  9. Thanks for the invite...I don't go up to the PHX area but I'll be nice to make a special trip...
  10. I would say that it's perfectly clear when it is written that John the Baptist never drank alcohol...Jesus did have wine...just like he had the power to turn water into wine...i'm sure he enjoyed the fruits of his labor. However choosing not to drink alcohol/wine is a personal matter as it is written not to get drunk.
  11. How important is the LORD in your heart, can you honestly say that you love him with all your heart mind and strength? or is an idol, someone else taking that place in your heart? Also, from the very begining the Lord warns us about being subjected to an uneven yoke, think about the consequences can you trully find happiness or please the LORD? This will influence raising or bringing up your future children and grandchildren. It iw written if your hand causes you to sin cut it off, it's better to enter the kingdom with out your hand then for your whole body to burn in hell (separation from GOD). I too was Christian and compormised with darkness, he was not of the same fold and it brought huge consequences as of result. Eventually I grew in spirit and realized that I don't have any obligations compromising with darkness. It is important to know your place in the kingdom, as it is important to know how much Heavenly Father Loves you and he wan't the best for you.
  12. It goes back to Nobody can be greater than his master, but he can be just like his master..set free
  13. Be temple worthy in spirit and flesh, don't date anyone outside the faith. Remain, a man will go as far as you allow him. If he doesn't respect your values, morals, character and faith than he isn't of this fold. Remember that you have the Spirit of God in you to prevent fornication, greater the spirit in you than that which is in the world. Also, don't give pearls to swines, you don't have to preach to them your reasons why you chose to be abstain from sex, if they don't know then the date is over... don't lead them on.
  14. I think it's time to Release her to the LORD. Let her be, but if the Lord has set it upon your heart to love her than do it in silence and you will know them by their fruits says the Lord. Use this time to get reconected to your first Love, which should be Jesus Christ (I mean spiritually) develop a relatioship with him and see where that takes you. Perhaphs you and your wife will reconcile but not on your time :)
  15. seek the Lord face to face and to be worthy of his gift and honor him in spirit and in truth, while earthly speaking, It would be nice to have a spiritual retreat for those who have suffered from spiritual attacks other than a mental institution.
  16. Moocow? if you don't mind me asking, how do you feel about civil marriage knowing the truth? can you live a lie? it's your life decision not your boyfriend's.
  17. pick up your mat and walk child. to be a true deciple we must carry our own cross. If you're not happy then you're not happy and you are free to make decisions with your life, but be sure to live out the consequences. What ever your choice know that God is for you and not against you, but if you walk in the path of destruction he will leave you at your own fate. He never abandons but his right had is lifted. Pray and talk to your husband about the issues you both are facing, seek Christlike counceling.
  18. My friend, seems like you have doctins and religion but not yet met with the Lord. It's good that you feel remorse or bad for your past behavior, to those who are serious and read what you just wrote about being married at the temple under false pretense it's a big deal...but there is always hope. Start reading the good news/gospel of Jesus Christ...John 3:16 for God so loved the world that he gave his only beggotten son that who so ever believeth in him shall not parish but have everlasting life. Believe in the Lord, believe that he is the redeemer and deliverer. You have strong holds, pray and fast. Know that God gives us a spirit of strenth and self discipline/control pray for the power of the Holy Ghost upon you. Remember that the kingdom is with in, Next time you need to confess why not confess it to the one who can actually deliver you from your weaknesses, the Lord Jesus Christ, let him know of all your sins and let him wash them away, also remember that you must be born of water and spirit and be like a little child to enter the kingdom. I hope you are being serious about you and the LORD Don't feel ashamed for doing what is right in your heart. Go back to church and GOD will give you the victory/glory.
  19. Hi RadioactiveWolfboy, just want to thank you for your testamony on mental illness and I would like to also, congratulate you for your many accomplishments such as your family :)
  20. Replying to both. thank you guys...i'm not having a good day today, but know that I appreciate taking the time to say hi and letting me know how each of you feel about my introduction. Hopefully my time here on earth will level out and my life circumstance will eventually minimize it's effect on me. Again, just taking the time to say hello and thank you. God bless..
  21. Investigator, I totally understand what you mean by tough skin, you mean mature in the Lord, willing to accept both the good and the bad and even win over your brother or sister or it could be that the Lord will reveal to you that the church is good for you your wife and your fam. I'm not your traditional LDS however I am a member, I became a member after the Lord revealed to me that he set me apart from non-believers and other christlike's. I honored his wish or try to honor and glorify his name here on earth so when they ask, "are you Christian" (Christlike), I could answer them by my fruits/spirit rather than to say yes. Being the salt and light of the world isn't as simple as converting into Christianity, but it takes up excersising our faith, to be worthy of such beautiful gift such as Salvation, that is found by and through our Lord Jesus Christ. I could see why you would have many questions, to be frank, I myself am not involved in Mormon philosophy but rather be Spirit lead as the Lord dictates according to his holy scriptures and my daily walk (communion with him). I will say this if it helps any....I was catholic as child, became born again christian at 13 (began a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ through reading his word and ofcourse having him as my only friend). I later married a non-believer...(biggest no no) but I carried my cross even when I knew my marriage wasn't on the solid rock. I learned to relying on the Lord for deliverance. As I grew in the Lord, His Spirit filled me with power and strength and the Lord (not only was he my savior and Lord ) but because of my uneven yoke with my husband and the passion I had for getting to know him (The LORD), he became my master and lord as in the old days such as you would read from sara and abraham (my new yoke) and because of that I was no longer under the yoke of slavery. To cut through the chase what I'm trying to say is that with God all is possible and that we may have knowledge and wisdom and may know all sorts of spiritual mysteries but if we have no love than we are nothing at all. Pray for your marriage, pray for your wife help comfort and encourage eachother, if you are not for me than you are against me say's the Lord...
  22. Hello, just wish to introduce myself, my name is Reyna Rosa, I'm 31 years old and I live in a small town in AZ, population aprox. 2000. It's been hard for me to make any kind of friends much less LDS friends or Christlike. I'm not your traditional LDS member, I have a spiritual walk that has lead me to that Church, but I do believe that my spirit is a free spirit and I'm not binded to the yoke of traditional members. I've blogged on other websites and have accounts on other sites but I've mustured up the courage to say that I am lonely christian and it would be nice to make friends of anykind either face to face or via mail, text....who knows
