Do you believe that? This must be within the last week. Islam is the official religion of Saudi Arabia. All citizen must be Muslims. Conversion to another religion is punishable by death. This was told to me by a devout Muslim from Bahrain. Bahrain has close ties to Saudi Arabia and like Saudi Arabia is mostly Shiite and is ruled by Sunni. I believe it is a target. During my military service I spent some time with an Inteligence unit. I met an individual that was working in South America tracking various groups (Communiest) operating to penetrate various organizations. He told me he joined the LDS church because it was the only organization in South America the communiest could not penetrate. He had been sent (CIA) to investigate and was converted. He said that the members seemed to be able to sense when a new member did not belong. This is not to say that it could not happen - but I believe that keeping sinful secerets is extreamly difficult. I knew a couple of elders on my mission that just seemed to somehow be different. Both ended up being sent home and lost their membership. I believe the Chruch of Christ is both an actual organization and the power manifest by the Holy Ghost that is within our hearts given through the organization by the laying on of hands. Jesus said that a corrupt tree cannot bring forth good fruit and that a good tree will not bring corrupt fruit. I believe it is impossible for the Anti-Christ to operate among believers in Christ loyal to their covenants. The term "eyes that see" is a promise given by covenant to those that are loyal. The actual symbolism given is “the man of sin” and “son of perdition” that is sitting in the temple of G-d. I believe this symbolism is indicating that Satan or Lucifer is the man of sin and the son of perdition. The symbolism of sitting in the Temple of G-d is not a particular temple as it is to replace G-d. It also appears to me that the actual meaning of “Anti-Christ” is both Satan and those that choose to follow him. In the same manner that Christ has established his kingdom beginning with Adam, Satan has also established a parallel organization. The first leader of Satan’s organization was Cain who took the title “Master Mahan” that is the mirror parallel to the President, prophet or presiding High Priest. Master Mahan is the keeper of the “secret” where human life is waged for monetary profit and political power. We know a little how the secret works from the Book of Mormon. It operates in secret and assists its members to gain key positions in various religious organizations, businesses, and political parties – or anywhere else thought to be beneficial for accruing wealth and power. It is my personal belief that all members of the secret society can correctly be referred to as the Anti-Christ. Once the Anti-Christ gain control of an organization they may use the previous members of that organization to perform various Anti acts but not include them in their secret society. It is my understanding that as the time draws nearer for Christ to return that everyone that is not part of the Church of Christ will be under the control of the Anti-Christ. What I have attempted to do is give clues that will indicate the control the Anti-Christ have exercised in various places and times in history and our current place and time. My son isn't a theif, never was! Amillia, Please don't take this wrong...and regardless the ladies in you ward should be spreading gossip. But I've been involved in education for around 2 decades. Parents often are the last to know and have a hard time facing reality. My son was told by the store manager that it was wrong of him to believe this woman because he had never had any employees report him as being a thief, nor had he ever had cause to think he was a thief. He admitted it was just the word of this woman that caused the boys to be banded from the store. My boys went to that store almost daily until this woman told her lie. She is the lier and my boys have been vindicated and are now best of friends with all the manager and clerks in this store.

I don't know if I agree with that. It is just my opinion, but I think that it is in the denying the Holy Ghost that Satan has the power to bind them down, blinding their minds and hearts, and this is what causes them to not desire repentence.Chicken or the egg? Snow is in his own world and as Strawberry said, shouldn't be taken seriously. I concur with all those who stated that this bishop is wrong about denying anyone a mission because of something her sister did.I would go tell your friend that she can go to the stake president or to the area presidents if there still are some or even higher because the church has a line of authority to protect us from wacko leaders like this bishop.

Just to be the odd duck out, I am going back to topic. The LDS church announced that they are having the members in HongKong send much of the aid through them from the church because it is easier than sending everything from SLC. It was also stated that they want money from the saints in the states and around the world, rather than things because of the cost and problems with shipping them from long distances. They are keeping a close eye on everything going into the needed areas so that all the funds and things go to those in need and aren't taken by greedy uneedy people.

Snow, What makes you think that Amillia is Peace/Starsky? I think I remember that you didn't care for her much and I think that I remember what much of the riff was about. I like Peace/ Starsky and I think that Amillia is nice as well. Your comment about the boys is a bit harsh don't you think? I know Mormon women who can be as Amillia described and they are not that way just because they are Mormon either. The reason why some women act that way is because they are in misery themselves and "Misery loves company" If this is indeed a battle you are having with Amillia then it is not my place to get involved. If you believe the Amillia is Peace/Starsky then you must have proof of some kind. I can't see you calling someone by another name without researching it first. I was never made aware of the reason why Peace/Starsky is no longer posting here is this for public knowledge? Amillia sounds like she has been through some hard times and as a mother, nothing hurts like when your child hurts. What is harsh about it? Either the boy is a thief or not. Since we don't personally know Peace or the accuser that makes it a 50-50 proposition. I am typically suspicious of the Imma-victim-type, especially the type that accuse the Church of malfesance when they know nothing about the issue at hand or react all out of proportion to a humorous remark, like Peace did to Spencer, who made a perfectly normal comment but Peace says his behavior sickens her. Give me a break... as if that has anything to do with her becoming active. When a person is active or not active they should accept responsibility for it themselves, not blame it on anybody else, especially when they (like Spencer) did absolutely zero. So, if we can't trust Peace about being sickened by humor, then I don't trust her when she says that others accuse her son with no good reason - not that I have any idea if her son is a bad kid or not - just that Peace isn't acting credibly. ...and no, I am in no battle with Peace, I still and have always liked Peace. I have been re-active for almost two months now Spencer and it is people like you who are making it a very sickening experience. You all think you are so clever. is this sickening experience being exposed to sarcastic remarks and other jibs? because you'll find those anywhere, but, ironic as it is, you'll find them most between friends. friends have a habit of putting each other down out of fun--because they know the person that is "insulting" them wouldn't actually ever try to insult them, sarcastic remarks and jibs serve to strengthen friendship. that's probably a little twisted, but that's how everyone works now a days. of course, in a perfect world, i doubt anyone would ever be sarcastic, especially to a friend (could you imagine Jesus being sarcastic?). so, amillia, don't take any sort of sarcastic remark the wrong way. there's very few people, if any, that are truly trying to put you down. plus, this kind of a thing on a message board gets especially messy. on the internet, everyone is anonymous; it's very hard to see a human behind the words. thus, our human weakness allows us to make these mean remarks that never would have been said in real life because we aren't afraid of hurting feelings. if somebody in real life, who you barely knew, came up to you and said something you deemed to be dumb, would you make a mean jib at them? of course not! that would be mean! but on the internet, it just doesn't seem like you're hurting anyone. At church there are people who come up to me and say things which are meant to be hurtful, but they say them in such a way as to appear innocent of any evil intention. Some just give me the cold shoulder by walking by me with their nose in the air. My younger son was told at the beginning of summer that he could no longer go to the local store because a women in our ward told the manager my sons were theives and liers. We just found that out last week before Christmas by talking with this manager. What kind of people go out of their way to destroy people's lives?

I guess I shouldn't feel this way, but I think the Lord's true church should be the first and best to help in all disasters.
