Soak them in motor oil, that way there is nothing to stain 👍 ... but in all honesty I would just save some special garments for cleaner activities and have a few work sets.

Full disclosure, I only scanned this thread. But I just wanted to leave this little nugget of wisdom I heard from an investigator on my mission. ”The purpose of having an open mind is to eventually close it on to something” - investigator Being firmly grounded in the idea of always being open minded sounds like the actions of a foolish man. Their homes are most certainly built on sand

I scrolled past this image so fast that I thought it was a variation of this picture of Christ when I saw it in the blur of my phone’s screen.

Haha I thought it was all temples. Every temple I have ever done initiatories in had separate initiatory rooms for men and women
-
I do initiatories probably once a month and I have never once in my life seen a woman even in the initiatory room

More struggles with Direction from stake President

That’s sad And she will never find her way back. No matter how hard she tries to find MormonHub... it will never be there. -
Most my endowment sessions are overwhelmingly women. But you know what?!!?? I have not once ever seen a woman to initiatories! What’s the deal???

Ya! Where do she go! She was the one of the first responders to my first post and my first encounter with a heated arguement on this forum. -
Mothers Have the Primary Role of Teaching in the Home
Fether replied to a topic in LDS Gospel Discussion
Your using all the exceptions to argue that the overall principle is wrong. Your arguement style is similar to the pro-choice stance of using violent malicious rape as justification for all abortions and then using the sympathy card to make us all look like heartless, narrow minded hypocrites. “By divine design, fathers are to preside over their families in love and righteousness and are responsible to provide the necessities of life and protection for their families. Mothers are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children. In these sacred responsibilities,Fathers and mothers are obligated to help one another as equal partners.” - Family Proclamation I’m all for teaching exceptions, but don’t ever make the exceptions more important than the principle. -

I don’t believe for a second that Trump would attack the church. Trump has never attacked any organization unless they attacked him or are deeply immoral. I would vote Trump over Romney any day

Coming from a complete place of ignorance, here is what goes through my mind. 1) I don’t see how universal health insurance/care would work 2) Why do many good people in places that have it love it? 3) Why are the biggest opponents of it people who don’t have it and have a political agenda? 4) I imagine that if we did do it, it would domino effect into foreseen and unforeseen negative effects... but are there other economic positive effects that would result that arenjust too far down the way for us to see? I’m generally against it, but I also acknowledge my view as coming from heavily right leaning ideologues and a right leaning libertarian economics teacher.

I mean no offense in saying this, but I think your shock is part of the problem. I first got addicted at age 9. I have a few friends who have similar experiences (so far everyone I know that was at one point viewing pornographer staryed when they were in primary). did you know the Friend speaks about ponography quite regularily? We shouldn’t be surprised when we learn that children in primary are viewing it.

In our language, it could be read as “Laban had the Old Testament up until the book of Jeremiah (who was the prophet at the time). From what I understand, copies of the scripture were not common in house holds. Laban, who was related to them, had a record of their genealogy and the scriptures up to that point in time. I think it was just a familial genealogy that he was interested in that only Laban had. Im sure there were more scripture but that copy had his family’s genealogy. I would assume so, I am under the impression that tribes were a pretty big deal among the time period The Nephites

I was sitting in a district meeting one day and we were doing a quick GTK you meeting where we said where we were from. One sister got up and said “Greeley Colorado”. I lived the first 10 years of my life in Greeley Colorado. I approached her after the meeting and asked where at. Long story short, we were in the same Sunday school class and I definitely remembered her.

That was my mission! The Fielding family was great, the father was a counselor in the mission presidency. I didn’t put Aaron and his father together as being family until you said it and now I totally see it xD Now I’m curious as to your son’s name and whether I would have met him. I served 2014-16, when did he serve?

We cannot make the mistake that women are suppose to serve missions... they are not. It is purely their choice, God did not command them to do so. https://www.lds.org/youth/activities/face-to-face-events/holland?lang=eng jump to 40:45 on this video and Elder Holland has some profound (at least to me) things to say about this topic.

You will be regretting your disbelief when I have gathered togethered Adam’s garment of invincibility, Mose’s staff of unlimited power, the Liahona if forsight, Nephi’s boat of instant travel (as it only took them on chapter to go from Saudi Arabia to the Americas), and Paul’s Handkerchief Of immunity. I will be the most power being on earth.

Oh ... it doesn’t, you have to be enlightened to know this

They would if they were made of Celestial material! Was it not God that gave it to them???

The Fascinating Folklore of the Latter-day Saints
Fether replied to Third Hour's topic in Third Hour Article Discussion
Other urban legends: - Story of sister missionaries that ran out of gas on Sunday, and instead of filling up at the gas station; they poured water into the gas tank and prayed it would become gas. Miraculously, when they turned their car on and started driving, the car broke down. - every mission supposedly has a “quorum of the 12 apostates”, you can imagine what that means. I’ve heard of multiple ways one could get into said quorum, all of which have something to do with driving home and doing something awful. - That elder that went to prison because they didn’t have another male in the room during a lesson (this one was somewhat true in my mission, there was an elder that got out of jail who was accused of a crime while teaching a family. That family was still being taught when I was serving and they required a member of the stake presidency to be at every meeting). -
On the mission you are constantly bombarded with “You must be worthy statements”, particularly in the MTC. You don’t really get that when getting ready to get married.
