  1. He also didn't throw a concert with a known brothel owner. With her business Title plastered for all to see.
  2. I heard of him teaching publicans and sinners. Are you familiar with him "hanging out" with whores?
  3. How do they know those guests are having premarital sex? Are they like wearing shirts or have a title stating they are fornicators? *side note, what if the CEO of a Porn Company asked to conduct the choir?
  4. You can be a part of Mo tab if you are having premarital sex?
  5. Easy to see, if they make it into public service positions they can change laws and make mandatory classes be taught to the children; Normalizing homosexuality.
  6. Wow... both sins will keep you from enjoying all the blessings of the Lord in this life and in the life to come. They are both third in the sin severity scale, if there even is one anymore.
  7. Vort on fire tonight. Hey, I am very glad you comment on these forums after all.
  8. @bytebear Feel free to trust in the arm of flesh. No one is stopping you. I am going to watch how this plays out and adjust accordingly. As of right now I am watching the leaders decisions, maybe they have a plan, maybe they will screw up. We'll see. Even Joseph, who I hold in high esteem, went hunting for gold at one point and found none. If Brother Joseph can err anyone one of the brethren can. You rebuke our "fear", I rebuke your assumption. It's okay to be open minded, just don't have it open so wide your brain falls out.
  9. So what do you guys think is going to happen when we [NEVER] acknowledge homosexual unions as being holy? I kind of see it as giving false hope. I can see from both sides "Maybe being nice to the "gays" will let them feel the light of Christ and then they can repent and be clean", perhaps. "Um, us being all buddy-buddy with the homosexuals may blow up in our face when they realize we will Never allow them to be sealed together" yeah, I can see this happening too. At this point maybe I should just buy some heavily tinted glasses and spf 10 Billion sunscreen as I am sure a meteor is making its way to us. Lol There is a wickedness that has spread over the land. I have begun speaking with all my advisers: Health, Financial, Marital (yes, I keep up my fitness by speaking with other professionals) about their personal lives. Most hesitate but eventually open up; I have found that EVERY last one of them is divorced. Even the marriage counselor. [non of them are LDS if you are wondering. I don't do business with members just in case I ever need to recoup lost funds for bad service] I hope there is time to get this sinking ship back up and running. Reestablish strong families in country. The madness is thick.
  10. Hi! I was born in the covenant but I am a convert. There was some issues my family encountered that kept from getting baptized "on time". I waited years and I kind of wish I didn't. I am not sure I believe it is more true now than I knew before. I have always known The Book of Mormon and The Holy Bible were the word of God. I would recommend getting baptized as soon as you are able. Not only for the redeeming cleansing power of the Lord but also getting the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost. I know Joseph Smith was a Prophet, I have a love for that man and great respect for all of his sufferings. His testimony of Jesus Christ helped me to believe in the Savior even more. For me it was easier to relate to Joseph because he was real to me, imperfect like me. He helped me understand that Jesus was perfect but also very strong, loyal and loving. This was important to me as I was raised to be proud of my manhood. I was raised to fight for what I believe in. Understanding that Jesus submitted Himself to all he did For me, you, EVERYONE and Father (God), that He chose to give up his life... it really has made a huge difference. Knowing that he is Loyal means SO much to me. If He has a problem with me He will come to me and correct me BUT he will show me an increase of love afterward. I know Jesus is the Christ, I love how the LDS church teaches personal responsibility and how salvation comes after all we can do ourselves. Now do I believe in all the prophets? I am a man and I see everyone who has lived on this earth, besides Jesus, as a Man (mortal and imperfect) I try to be on board with what the Prophets and local leaders say. There are some issues that I have but nothing at the moment that is a deal breaker. I have looked around and other religions don't have the answers to my deep concerns like the LDS Church does. Now do they have ALL the answers? Nope. Nobody does right now. I don't care who any mortal claims to be, they don't have all the answers. I claim this without being ashamed: THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS is the best organization today, that I have found, for getting closer to God and preparing for eternity. Now if I am alive when Jesus comes again and I find out that being Christian was enough, then I will never sit through another 3 hour church meeting again. Lol Congratulations on reading The Book of Mormon. Please let us know when you get baptized so we can celebrate with you.
  11. Yes, even more so in the FBI and NSA. Average Mormon boys and girls are what these agencies are looking for when they grow up. Boring lives, morally upright, usually multilingual (Missionary service) and very professional employees. Also depends on your agency location for percentage, I wouldn't be able to answer that.
  12. Hey thanks for all you do. I served in a law enforcement position when I was younger. It was very easy to get sucked into a negative mindset. Working long hours at times and being around negativity basically all day. Very easy to let it beat you down if you are not careful. I saw divorce and even suicide among my peers, not easy when practically all of your "clients" want to see you get hurt somehow. Lol.
  13. I can meet you halfway on this. If it is approaching someone at church, who is not directly in your stewardship or even intimately connected through friendship, then I suppose I can see this. If my friends is being horrible then I am going to say something. I would expect him to hold me accountable too. It would go something like "Look man I love you but you need to stop cheating on Susan. I know she is hard to be around sometimes but either get help or divorce". It IS my place to hold my siblings accountable and THEIRS to help me also in the same regard. What good does it do to pacify me by not approaching me on my sin? I would wake up in hell if people didn't hold me accountable.
  14. I see a lot of posts where people are correcting those who are correcting others. By all means I don't mind seeing Fether corrected but it seems you are skirting on the same behavior. As long as someone isn't being viciously rude, whether direct or passive, then I see no harm in pointing something out. When people say stuff to me I can either ignore it completely or ponder on it to perhaps improve. Even people I find "annoying" in real life or even here I often think about their responses and ignore or apply.
  15. Um, there shouldn't be any reason to break the laws of God. If you mean working on the sabbath then that is an easy one. Some civil servants have to work on Sunday to provide care and protection to people. If you are talking about taking drugs to convince dealers you are a customer then of course the answer is get a new job. Plenty of other ways to catch someone committing a crime.
  16. oh and thank you! That is very nice of you *Also I will go back and hide my main post. To calm your heart.
  17. no problem Totally understand but you are in luck. I didn't cover it all as it is quite large. Also remember to breathe if you ever decide to read about stuff that creeps you out. Above all know that God will protect you. You are actually correct about this. I didn't mention this. Yes, that is why shouldn't seek out spirit summoners. They have no authority nor can they demand the deceased to appear. Any spirits that do appear are in fact devils pretending to be your loved one. You will know if your family is allowed by God to visit. It will be peaceful and they will let you know they were sent by God THEMSELVES. They will also encourage you to ask God that He indeed did send them to you. As far as feeling anxious goes let me see if I can find something... I love the piano piece
  18. I have worn both glass and contacts and had my vision repaired also. They are there no matter what. With clear vision it is less pronounced but still there pushing away the darkness.
