This is just amazing. https://www.deseretnews.com/article/900059369/entire-first-presidency-quorum-of-the-twelve-to-attend-rome-temple-dedication-mormon.html The last time this occured was at the Nauvoo Dedication in 2002 and before that at the LA Temple Dedication in 1956. Very historic times for the Church.

The End of Civilizations?
Emmanuel Goldstein replied to Emmanuel Goldstein's topic in LDS Gospel Discussion
Organized nations with a specific identity. Yes, there are always survivors, but the Jaradites no longer existed after Ramah as a organized people. The Nephites were hunted to extinction as a recognized self identified group. There are multiple ways this could happen to this World Wide civilization, e.g. Modern Babylon. -
So far on this continent two great civilizations have come to an end in Western New York at or around the Hill Ramah/Cumorah. Why did they both end at the same spot? Is there something spiritually or tactically significant to this location? What is the chance that our civilization will come to a similar end, near or around this location? Thoughts?

So, she takes the time to look up the race of a reviewer before caring what they say? Seems like she is a racist. -

Jordan Peterson. He seems to be the most intelligent spokesperson for real freedom of conscience in our society today. -

-We had a mechanic once that saw we just needed a small hose replaced. He just charged us for his time and supplied the hose for free. $15 bucks. -Another time a different mechanic saw that we just needed a belt tightened and he did not even charge us. Most home town mechanics I have met are just awesome.

Well, we are waiting. lol

When Did Confusion Become a Virtue?

Interesting how often they bring up the Times and Seasons article; and they use that to say what Joseph was thinking just because his name was on the paper as editor. Why do they then dismiss the statements he had put into the official history of the church. Such as, the letters of Oliver Cowdery to WW Phelps, that identify Cumorah as the location of the final battles of both the Jaredites and the Nephites. Or, Joseph identifying Missouri as the Land of Manti. Or, the story of Zelph and discovering of his grave in Illinois. But, if you bring these up they immediately say “the church is neutral.” Cumorah is the only location we are sure of, the rest is unknown.

True, there are some High Priests in our quorum who can be pretty immature. lol -
We actually don't know how plentiful life is in the universe yet. I suspect it is all over the place, especially intelligent life. We are just too immature as a species for them to want anything to do with us. It would be like us wanting to hang out and have conversations with chipmunks.

It would be fun if the Picard series were to take place in the Abrams-verse, just to see the difference. -
