I really love the "my bad" you mentioned, my kids got me started on that 1 :)opps! "mybad" I meant to spell it out(one)

Notice I left space between my an bad, a quirk of mine, that may not be proper leak speak, or leak speak may not be( what the topic is)I'm not sure of what I meant, either:confused:

Leak speak? Teehee, you are so cute.

It's leet speak, alternate spelling being l33t or l337. ;)

No...they made three movies based on a girl that lived with her mother in San Fransisco. Her grandmother and bodyguard make the journey from a European country where she is now residing as a queen to visit her.

I really love the "my bad"

Okay, I must confess, I like "my bad" as well. The truth is, it's fun to say.

I was attempting to sound like a lofty intellectual who disdains English jargon. But I lied. :P

is " oh well" one of them w'ere disscussing?

I think it fits.

(omy) I use instead of " oh my" which may be just lazy on my part

I don't care how you spell it as long as I can still say it each time Johnny visits me for one of our rendezvous.

*Foot note: My dear english teacher would frown(alot) if she seen how I mangle her lovely english language, she loved to teach.

Eyes yust tu be a curiclum deloper fur english glasses, 'n I garuntee ure rite: ure english teach wuld be veree upset atch u.

This one drives me insane.

Have you ever noticed when people are being interviewed, each time they begin a response, they first say a crisp “Well”?

It goes like this:

Well, (miniscule pause) funny you should ask that.

I hate that!

I think someone may have mentioned this one already, but when a person is giving a speech, and intersperses it with long pauses filled with three or four "uhs," I hate that!

Okay, one more:

I hate that!

Unfortunately, that bugs me so much that if a speaker does it too often in the beginning, I shut down. I'd rather count ceiling tiles than listen to a bunch of "um, ah, uh..." going on.

Um, I don't mind it, ah, if there are some, uh, uh, breaks with sound fillers. But, when, um, people, um, ah, can't, um, get, ah, um, a, um sentence out, um without, ah a break, then um, I begin to ah, um, count.

Whew! That's hard. I especially despise it when I'm in a professional setting. I recognize that everyone has anxiety about speaking in front of others, but when I'm in a business meeting, I expect those who are speaking to have learned (by taking Toastmasters or in some other fashion) to speak coherently and without the simple annoyances. Simply breaking without a sound filler does very well. I'm a little more charitable in a church setting....but I usually open my scriptures and read if it grates on my nerves too much.

I personally think that "it's like" and "they're all like" should be on the list, it's a 24/7 nightmare. ;p

I counted my daughter with this once. She said "like" 28 times in a five minute conversation.
