Ok, what is with the handkerchief thing? They have tissue boxes all over the temple. Much more sanitary and I don't have to worry about washing the handkerchief before i go to the temple again.

No there isn't beefche- not in the endowment room.

What problem could washing a 10" or 12" square piece of all white cloth be anyway?

There is a box of tissues in the endowment room in the Louisville temple. And I stuff my pockets with them anyway before I go in.

And washing a hanky means WORK. I don't do work whenever I can avoid it. :P

Just toss it in with your load of garments, or do you toss your garments each time you wear them and buy new?

I am just against tissues as you are cloth hankies. There must be enough of an age difference between us, where my making washing a hanky less work is NOT ironing it!

I hope it went well! When I first went I remembered to just try and go with the flow. New things can be stressful, but everyone there really is helpful. Afterwards, we ate in the cafeteria and I finally relaxed. In fact, I relaxed so much I almost passed out.

How do you think I learned to iron? By ironing all my dad's handkerchiefs.

Why do you iron hankies? Do you also iron your bed sheets? Seriously, I don't understand that thinking--both are gonna get wrinkled the very first time they are used.

I am truly lazy--I do own an iron, but tend to use that Downy wrinkle releaser first. Really takes care of wrinkles (except for the ones on my face) and it smells good.

Temple to hankie hatred to ironing pains. Yup, this thread is dissolving quickly.

Ha! If it had stayed on topic, I would have been worried about all of us....that's not normal for us wackos...

I also can not sleep on a pillow case that has not been ironed when I first put them on a pillow. Call me weird, but I grew up before permanent press and it has just stayed with me.

My roommate at BYU used to iron her pajamas. And then climb into bed. Did I mention she'd iron her PJ pants while wearing them if she forgot to do it before putting them on?

Leave the steam setting on. That will cure her.

Today is the day that Backroads officially becomes eligible for the highest level of the Celestial Kingdom. And I bet she get's there.

Something tells me that we're not going to be hearing from Backroads for a few weeks.

Haha! Then she isn't a truly addicted...er...devoted fan or friend of us.

Congrats, Backroads.
