beefche Posted March 14, 2011 Report Posted March 14, 2011 I can remember towards the end of my marriage how much I missed hearing that phrase. Now, I have to call my kids to hear it.I love you, man. Quote

slamjet Posted March 14, 2011 Report Posted March 14, 2011 What is it with slamjet and attacking people's fiances?Easy targets. They're already wussyfying from the leash ever tightening around their necks Quote
jayanna Posted March 14, 2011 Report Posted March 14, 2011 too many 'I love you's from a date/boyfriend...yes from a hubby ...no from kids stretching out bedtime for half an hour..definitely A whole lot of it makes me suspicious, "Okay, what did you do?" or "what do you want, just say it." That's kinda depressing, huh? I love you's can be nice, but especially when combined with something, like making dinner, or a back rub, etc. Quote

Blackmarch Posted March 14, 2011 Report Posted March 14, 2011 Not too soon, just too much or too often. I don't really have an opinion on it, so naturally I'm wondering what yours are. Also, before anyone asks, this isn't an issue for me. lol. I'm just the data collector.Better to do it too much than not enough. Quote

rex8499 Posted March 14, 2011 Report Posted March 14, 2011 My first fiance felt that it could definitely be said too often and be "worn out." My 2nd fiance and now my wife agrees that you can't over-use it. As long as it's sincere, say it often. And we do. Quote
