pam Posted May 11, 2011 Report Posted May 11, 2011 I know how to do a lot of things on the computer but I can't seem to figure this one out. I'm using IE8. There was an update that happened last night. It now has all my favorites in alphabetical order instead of the order I added them or use the most. What a pain this is. Anyone know how I can change the order? Quote
slamjet Posted May 11, 2011 Report Posted May 11, 2011 Favorites > Organize Favorites > Drag & drop to your hearts content. And if you do not see the Favorites menu, Right-Click on the address or Favorites bar and click on Menu Bar. Quote

pam Posted May 12, 2011 Author Report Posted May 12, 2011 Let's not turn this into a "let's point out all Pam's problems thread." :) I'm afraid it would have more posts than the "questions only" or "Lakers" thread. Quote

Jbdf Posted May 12, 2011 Report Posted May 12, 2011 I was still using IE until last week. Then I just couldn't take all the problems anymore. I never thought I'd say it, but now it's smooth sailing with Firefox. Quote
pam Posted May 12, 2011 Author Report Posted May 12, 2011 And I've tried Firefox and had nothing but problems. So I guess it just depends on the things we use it for. Quote
beefche Posted May 12, 2011 Report Posted May 12, 2011 I happen to think Pam is perfect. Brown nosing doesn't get you anywhere. Trust me, I've tried. Quote

So I guess it just depends on the things we use it for.I had the same experiences when I experimented with Firefox in the past, so you're not alone there. So far it seems to be working better than IE this time around - maybe due to respective updates, I dunno - so I'm hoping it keeps working fine. But, unlike IE, it hasn't been crashing on me five times a day yet. Quote

mnn727 Posted May 12, 2011 Report Posted May 12, 2011 There's nothing wrong with IE8 that editing the registry can't fix Quote
rameumptom Posted May 12, 2011 Report Posted May 12, 2011 I use both Firefox 4 and Chrome. Chrome is a speed demon. Firefox is strong on add-ons. IE just seems to be slower, bulkier and more problematic for me. Plus it is a huge security risk that you don't have with Chrome. Quote
