pam Posted July 22, 2013 Report Posted July 22, 2013 Castles are cool, I admit. But I do not understand the royalty thing, either. I think a lot of it stems from little girl dreams of princes and princesses. Quote

Royalty is something that is interesting to people, including myself. I like English royal history. I watched the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's wedding and I'm interested in this lovely baby news. It's part of history, past and present. And I like babies in general. :)M. Quote

Jenamarie Posted July 23, 2013 Report Posted July 23, 2013 I'm really happy for them. :) I was hoping it would be a girl, with the rule change and all, but seeing as I have two sons of my own, I know they've got an exciting journey ahead of them. :) (and seeing as it's a boy, we'll hopefully also be spared from constant fashion critiques of the little princesses' clothes ) Quote
Maureen Posted July 23, 2013 Author Report Posted July 23, 2013 I was also hoping for a girl, mainly because of this succession reform; but I am very happy that they have a baby boy. M. Quote
Jenamarie Posted July 23, 2013 Report Posted July 23, 2013 So, anybody want to guess at names?? I've seen some suggestions thrown out there, such as George John Paul Ringo. Quote
pam Posted July 23, 2013 Report Posted July 23, 2013 I've seen names like George and James. I don't know why they can't break with tradition and just name it what they want with the times. Quote
slamjet Posted July 23, 2013 Report Posted July 23, 2013 think she was referring to slamjet lolI am shocked, Shocked, SHOCKED that Pam would think I would ever dis the royal poop-generator for I was married to a British subject!Anyhow... Quote
Backroads Posted July 23, 2013 Report Posted July 23, 2013 I do hope they stay traditional and don't do some weirdly modern name. Quote

We all know Justen Beiber's an idiot, do we REALLY need to hear the latest stupid (often illegal) thing he and other celebrity's are doing? Quote
