FunkyTown Posted December 17, 2014 Report Posted December 17, 2014 So... I've noticed that I no longer have formatting in my posts. If I hit 'Enter', it simply ignores it as if I had no carriage return. So I must humbly and with all grace, ask "What da dillio?" Quote

MrShorty Posted December 17, 2014 Report Posted December 17, 2014 Check your javascript options and/or check for any javascript blockers in your browser. I have a javascript blocker on my browser, and I experience the same issue when the JS blocker is active. When the blocker is not active, then the post editor/composer loads normally and carriage returns (and other formatting options) are available. Quote

Guest Posted December 17, 2014 Report Posted December 17, 2014 I thought this was going to be a debate about each shopper's responsibility to return their cart/buggy/carriage to the corral or store. Quote
askandanswer Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 One of the main shopping outlets here in Australia requires that you put a 2 or 1 dollar coin into a little slot at the top of the trolley to unlock it from the other carts before you can start using it. You get your coin back when you return your trolley and lock it into the other trolleys. I thought carriage returns are what happens when the train gets back to the station it left from :) Quote
lonetree Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 Works fine here. But my keyboard's an IBM. Quote
pam Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 What kind of a device are you using and what browser? Quote
jerome1232 Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 If it's any consolation, if I'm in the normal editing mode, it's spotty on reading my blank spaces. That's why you sometimes will see no return or three returns after a quote I do because I'm trying to get a dang blank line under it. I found if I switch to the mode that shows BBC code (looks like a light switch, top left of editing window) everything behaves like it should. Quote
