I have seen him make mistakes. I have seen him change his mind. I have seen him struggle to understand. I have seen him grow more compassionate. I have never seen him desire a position of power. He is human and fallible, but he strives. My father is a good man. If he’s given power to wield, I trust that he will exercise his conscience and wield the power to the best of his ability for the betterment of those in his stewardship.
