Emmanuel Goldstein Posted February 21, 2020 Report Posted February 21, 2020 We need a modern Chief Captain Moroni. This garbage is a real threat to our freedom. Anddenex 1 Quote
Traveler Posted February 24, 2020 Report Posted February 24, 2020 (edited) I think a compassionate person is someone that is willing to donate their time and money to help others. Generally I understand a socialists as someone that is willing to donate someone else's time and money to help others. I have no idea what a radical socialists is - or how that differs from a socialists. Is a radical socialists someone that is willing to donate someone else's time and money to help primarily themselves? If that is the case - I do not see much difference between a common place corporate executive and a radical socialists. I am confused how Sanders will end all capitalistic exploitation when it is exactly what he did in order to own 4 homes. The Traveler Edited February 24, 2020 by Traveler Quote

That's the point. He's allowed to own four homes because he's part of the elite (and don't kid yourself. He's just as much of an elitist as Hillary Clinton was) but he wants to make it forbidden for you to own two. And socialism is far more complicated and yes, more cold and uncaring, than what you described. Edited February 24, 2020 by MormonGator Quote

Still_Small_Voice Posted March 4, 2020 Report Posted March 4, 2020 The spirit of Socialism is: We are going to take. The participants take and take and take until there is nothing left which is why it always fails and it usually fails quickly. The vast majority of people are then left in terrible poverty. Too many people in America are so covetous and envious of the god of gold. If they would turn their hearts to the LORD they would see that He is the benevolent provider. Anddenex 1 Quote
Anddenex Posted March 15, 2020 Report Posted March 15, 2020 How the world turns. The founding fathers recognized the imperfections of socialism, and the Lord inspired these founders to set up a government where it would be possible to bring forth the Kingdom of God. We are indeed coming to a cross road a switch point. mirkwood 1 Quote
