Apparently several windows got broken too. (I don't live close and haven't seen it). Supposedly everything got dumped of the shelves too. Anyway, it's a low income rundown neighborhood with old cheaply built houses, so it's no surprise that there are several cracks with a 5.7 quake. They also live in an old lake bed not far from the airport (which got closed from the earthquake). Quote

Judging by the fact that the crack appears to be painted on the broken surfaces (inside) and it looks like old grass is sticking out from the bottom of the crack, I'm thinking that one was preexisting. laronius Posted November 23, 2024 Report Posted November 23, 2024 I was reminded today about the earthquake that hit the Salt Lake area four and a half years ago right as covid was gearing up and roughly 200 years since the first vision. The angel Moroni on the temple dropped his trumpet in the quake. There was speculation at the time that maybe there was some symbolism in the event. I'm curious now that a few years have gone by if hindsight lends credibility to potential symbolism. NeuroTypical 1 Quote
