Emmett Xavier Theodoran Posted April 14, 2023 Report Posted April 14, 2023 I am interested in converting to Mormonism, but first I want to talk to a missionary to make sure I make the right decisions. Vort and zil2 2 Quote
zil2 Posted April 15, 2023 Report Posted April 15, 2023 Welcome, @Emmett Xavier Theodoran! You can contact missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the Come Unto Christ website, via the "Contact Us" menu. You can also find a local church to visit and meet members in person. On this site, members and others discuss a wide variety of topics. If you'd like to post a question here, you're more than welcome to and we'll do our best. But for missionaries, check out above link. Vort 1 Quote
Jane_Doe Posted April 16, 2023 Report Posted April 16, 2023 Howdy! Sorry I’m a bit late to the party, it’s been a crazy weekend. @zil2 already provided you the formal missionary link. I’m not a formal missionary, but would be thrilled to answer any questions here or via DM/email. Whatever you’d like! zil2 1 Quote
Grunt Posted April 16, 2023 Report Posted April 16, 2023 Welcome! I'd start with the missionaries AND start going to your local chapel. Depending on how old you are, I learned quite a bit talking to existing members and asking questions that came up with the missionaries. Quote
askandanswer Posted April 16, 2023 Report Posted April 16, 2023 The best way to make sure you are making the right decision is to read the scriptures, be open and engaged with the missionaries and what they are telling you, and the feelings of the Holy Ghost, and then to pray, with humility, faith and sincerity, and ask God if you have made the right decision, and if what you are hearing and learning is true. Try it out and see how you feel. Welcome to the forum. Quote
