Play dumb about what Tiancum?

Seems you like to be a troll on the boards.

Thought you knew I was just playing with ya. You were going off topic, which the moderators have asked us not to do in individual threads, so I thought i would play with you a little. The way my kids tease each other...

Playing dumb....Ill show you...

The title of thread...and the majority of the posts are........HOW CLOSE ARE THE LAST DAYS?

Kona, stop pretending to be an Atheist and take a guess. You know you want to ..... :D

<<whispers>> refer to bold print above <<unwhispers>>

you replied

Want to what?

The question was obvious...want to take a guess as to how close the last days are.

I could only guess you were playing dumb. Pretending not to get what she was asking. I thought you were playing around because the question was so obvious. So I decided to play back some more. It was harmless fun, but honestly, if I offended you, I indeed apologize. :(

Honestly, I hear the kids all day at school saying, "you got OWNED!" "you got schooled!" "in your FACE!" and I laugh. They even tease me, and I laugh at it.

definition of troll:D

I'm hoping Jesus will not come back soon. I'm still wanting the whole Star trek stuff to happen. You know - traveling the stars.

Not to split hairs, but why would you assume the return of Jesus will do anything to prevent that from happening?

After all, what do you think God and Jesus are doing all day? Why, they're playing in this big fantastic universe they've created!

Someone once said our calendars are thought to be "off."

In other words, 2000 years from Christ's resurrection would not be April 6, 2033.

I've also heard it speculated that it will fall on the Sabbath.

I checked, and April 6th falls on a Sunday in the following years:

2025

2031

2036

2042

Do any of these years match the offset (if our calendar is incorrect)?

2036 sounds good to me. If the calendar is roughly 3 years out then that would be 2000 after the first Easter.

I was just wondering though, when Jesus said that no-one knows except his Father in Heaven, even Jesus himself doesn't know (that's a good one for the Trinitarians isn't it - how can the same person both know and not know?) anyway what I was wondering was if maybe Heavenly Father hasn't fully made his mind up. Maybe he's still thinking about it.

My opinion on this:

1) Only Father knows -- but this is not to say He won't reveal it to us. The problem is we have a hard time keeping personal revelation to ourselves (guilty!)

2) The reason no man knows is that it is not up to God, but up to US. When ZION is established, God will come. In other words, if ZION is never established, God will never come!

Zion will be established, though. But doesn't God know that too? Just like He knew that Joseph would lose 116 pages of text long before it every happened?

I didn't say Zion wouldn't be established.

It sounds like you are saying I said it wouldn't be.

Why would God come to a people unprepared to meet Him?
