Do you receive a feeling that is starts at the crown your head and feels like as if one put a finger into a electrical socket - warm and loving feeling overcomes the rest of the body?
-
Have you felt the Holy Ghost before?

Don't feel it was stupid. Stand up and be counted. We will have enemies in the church and outside the church. At this point, who cares. You did the right and that will be a blessing for you. Now have faith that GOD will in the end workout what is true path for both of you. I have seen Deity bring back torgether the worse marriages that even shrinks Bishops to be involve with. Yes! Patienceness is hard for now but it will grow overtime as you draw closer to the Savior and have Him, part of your life. Closer we are to Him, the greater blessings will be poured out for you and her. Now, take a close inspection of your daily habits. Work with one object that is not the 'WILL' of Deity. Change it and conform. It will eventually rub off on your children. As a standing patriarch, you need to be one in charge. So, be 'firm', be a 'righteous father and priesthood bearer', and never shrink to the levels of the thugs [devils]. You will win this battle.

Well, your first mistake is using the Wiki god as your source. Kona, there are websites that have Journal of Discourses that you can plainly view it youself. Though, I will say this, propehts are human. They will make mistakes. Even I have over some issues that the Lord or ministering spirits had corrected me. As you indicated, I have the Journals, history, and even most of JS published diaries. You will noticed that it is not from Joseph Smith that talked about this issue since he baptized a few fellow brethren into the church. I do know that President Young was a former preacher and some of his culture up bringing needed corrections. President Brigham Young, at another time said: "The seed of Ham, which is the seed of Cain descending through Ham, will, according to the curse put upon him, serve his brethren, and be a 'servant of servants' to his fellow creatures, until God removes the curse; and no power can hinder it."-J. D. 2:184. This is another interesting remarked he stated. Kona, do you the name of Ham is also rather significant, for it means "swarthy" or "black." It is possible that this is an appellation given to the third son of Noah because of the part he played in preserving through his lineage-and that most likely, as we have tried to show, through his wife Egyptus-the race of blacks upon whom the curse was placed. Piecing together the evidence as we discover it in holy writ and in tradition, we are brought to the conclusion that Ham, through Egyptus, continued the curse which was placed upon the seed of Cain. Because of that curse this dark race was separated and isolated from all the rest of Adam's posterity before the flood, and since that time the same condition has continued, and they have been "despised among all people." This doctrine did not originate with President Brigham Young but was taught by the Prophet Joseph Smith. At a meeting of the general authorities of the Church, held August 22, 1895, the question of the status of the negro in relation to the Priesthood was asked and the minutes of that meeting say: "President George Q. Cannon remarked that the Prophet taught this doctrine: That the seed of Cain could not receive the Priesthood nor act in any of the offices of the Priesthood until the seed of Abel should come forward and take precedence over Cain's offspring." Joseph Smith has left very little on record in his own words outside of the Pearl of Great Price. During the course of a discussion in Nauvoo in 1842, on the question as to whether the negroes or the Indians have received the greater ill-treatment from the whites, the Prophet Joseph said: "The Indians have greater cause to complain of the treatment of the whites, than the negroes, or sons of Cain." (D. H. C. 4:501.) But we all know it is due to his teachings that the negro may be baptized and enter the Church; and some of these unfortunate people have been baptized and have proved their faithfulness and worthiness before the Lord, in this their second estate, setting examples in righteousness which many of the sons of Shem and Japheth could emulate with everlasting profit. Surely the Lord will remember their faithfulness and reward them accordingly. However, thankyou for your validate points.

Dale, not many Saints will stand up and offer their own advice with the differences between the Deity we believe or know, in comparison of others. -
When a person begins the journey with Christ together in this probation, as it only single motivation [being born again], anything that resembles sin will begin the process of removing such bad elements from his/her life style. It is then we can see clearly the Godhead, the Gospel in action, and be a helping hand to others.

I am so happy to hear that. You are indeed a blessed sister. People really don't understand of 'lifting effect' unless one experiences it. It now rested on the Bishop's shoulder and the Savior.

Do you think that God once was a man?
Hemidakota replied to Mullenite's topic in Christian Beliefs Board
Yes...but the Lucifer will appear to those who are of the Church of the First Born [me talking here and not the church], then will try to claim himself as the Christ. Shell, what do you think happen to Moses on the mount for those forty days? Are you even curious to know? Though, I will tell and be blunt, I do know the Godhood. I do know the character of GOD. I do know the Savior; my hero, my friend, and elder brother whom I do look up to. I do know the Holy Spirit, which is my friend and companion in this probation has helped many times with various confirmations of truths received. As I do know personally, the prophet Joseph Smith. Yes! We do fall short of grasping many truths based on own personal bias views, culture upbringing, worldly influences, and at times, plain arrogance. In falling short of those precious truths, mainly due to our spiritual immaturity when the Savior calls forth His own. I do pray, coming from my former Catholic days, never deny something thinking you know more or hope to know more than another. But, go and ponder on what was said, thus allowing the Holy Spirit to guide you in the right direction and at the same time, confirm what was said. Now, I am here for a purpose and only for a short time. Making my rounds for those CFB individual. God bless you in your search for truth. I pray it will come quickly. Your friend. -
I will need to ensure I do post a disclaimer, do to church position.

The man I do admire while as prophet, true friend, and a great brother in the gospel of Christ - Spencer W. Kimball. It was his plaque that Nike took the quote - "DO IT". I have this in office on the wall: "Lengthen our stride" and "Do it". -
Welcome sister.
