Just shove them in the dresser. Their clothes don't really wrinkle, and even if I did fold them they'd be wrinkled within a few minutes of being put on, with the way my kids play. I stick with cottons and avoid anything poplin or linen unless it's for church.

Maybe change the way you do laundry? When I wash clothes there's "whites" and "everything else". I wash them all in cold water and dry on low heat, so the delicate stuff doesn't get ruined and the colors don't bleed. I don't fold my kids clothes, and only their church clothes get hung up. Saves me lots of time. When I buy clothes for my kids I focus on how many other items in their wardrobe it will match with. I don't "do" outfits that can't be mixed and matched unless they're super cheap (like the sets Target sells). I buy tops that can be worn with two or three different bottoms, and bottoms that can be worn with at least two or three different tops. That way they have more "outfits" without having as many clothes.

It's not a MORMON joke but I did find this really funny

I love Dave Barry. -
Maybe she'd rather leave it a mystery as to who's the "December" person in the relationship.

I think she's going to have to learn how to get out of dangerous situations on her own (or learn how not to get into them in the first place). You're not going to be around forever, and she's going to need to learn how to be independent, which means making mistakes and, some times, even having bad things happen to her. (though hopefully not *too* bad). It's how children learn to become adults. I wouldn't be too worried about her going to NC. Now if she were traveling to the border, I'd be much more concerned, but she'll be in the country, with friends, and hopefully she knows how to dial 911 if she comes into any serious trouble. But odds are she won't.

I wouldn't exactly say they "handle" them. Honestly if *FEMA* is the agency that our government is gonig to use to "take control" then I'm not too worried. -
Thank you. My husband has his scriptures on his PDA, so he may look like he's checking his e-mail, but he's actually following along with the lesson.

It also goes past some really cool dinosaurs!

Oh, and no you can't bring outside food into the park (or at least, not bring it in and visibly eat it ) but there are picnic areas between the two parks where you can go and eat.

If you're going with small children, you can actually (secretly ) get TWO fast-passes. The person at the beginning of the Fast Pass line has "parent passes" they can give to parents who are trading off watching small children so they can go on the faster rides (like Space Mountain). So one adult uses their ticket to get a Fast Pass, and TWO adults can use it to ride the ride (just not at the same time, obviously, since one of them is with the kids )

Worlds Largest dead snake found in South America

Ya, I've found when someone tells you to "turn the volume up" to watch a YouTube video, it's never an innocent suggestion. -

Sister Johnson's lesson in Relief Society today was so wonderful! I didn't even notice the lack of a centerpiece.

First Color Photos in the World--Fascinating
Jenamarie replied to Elphaba's topic in General Discussion
Wow, these are amazing! I can't believe how vivid the colors are. I LOVE photos from this time period, and it's almost surreal seeing COLOR photos from that time. ETA: Especially the picture of the POW camp. Wow. The men are all standing in that stock-straight pose that's so typical of old turn of the century group pictures, and yet they're in color. It makes them seem much more real. Much more recent. I dunno how to describe it. Thanks Elphaba. I'm sure I'll be staring at these for hours. -
I was going to say John Bytheway. I love the songs he writes, like the story of Lehi and his family set to the tune to Gilligan's Island. I still can't believe that one hasn't made it into the Primary Songbook.

This reminds me of a "contraversy" that came up a few years ago with a popular baby magazine (one that many OB offices give away for free). They had on their cover a close-up picture of a baby breastfeeding. It was taken from a side-angle, so you saw a profile of the baby's face, and the side of the breast. No areola was visible as the baby's mouth was covering it. The magazine was innundated with mail about it, and I remember one of the letters they published that was written by someone who was offended by the cover, said that she "didn't want such pornography appearing in her mailbox". All I could think was ??

In addition to the bolded part: I also think advancement of technology has made private showering and no-skinny-dipping necessary for our own protection. Camera phones are easy to use without anyone knowing what you're doing. No flash, just pretend like you're talking on the phone or texting and take a picture of someone's naked body.

Sort of a silly question about the Big Love thing...
Jenamarie replied to Jenamarie's topic in General Discussion
I honestly don't know. I only know that the Yearning for Zion ranch has a Temple, and the members were VERY VERY upset when it was raided by government officials. That would lead me to guess that they have their only ceremonies that are very sacred to them. They did NOT want that Temple defiled. -

I don't think it would be any better for them to show the FLDS ceremony. I'm sure they hold their Temple ceremonies just as sacred as we hold ours. HBO would just be offending a different group of people.
