DNA is really great. But we live in a mortal world and things like chromosomes and suchlike get messed up. It may be that we will be like the Earth and in the next world be us but more perfect.

Our president is sneakily taking over the world for the USA. People don't notice because they're too busy laughing at the math 'blunders', but they haven't realized we have over 1/2 of Mexico and soon will have all of Canada (except Quebec). -
One of these days I would looooove to have a good conversation about the pros and cons of various things like health care reform, but I feel totally backed into a corner and have to defend every little bit of the dem position. I can't even say there are parts of the bills I disagree with because I am not allowed to, because if I do I am a traitor, yet if I don't I'm a commie-socialist-fascist-nazi hate-monger who isn't smart enough to read the whole bill, like poor Moksha. Not only is Moksha a hateful person, he's also stupid? I think you're pretty cool, Moksha, even if you're a penguin.

And this is why we can't have nice things around here.

What's really sad is these kids in the quote won't really know how much damage they allowed until they're trying to have kidlings of their own. -

And this is why colleges cost so much, to graduate people who can't count? -
It sounds like a good time for the little vampire's parents to help out in the nursery

Well, I always believed when it comes to courtesy one can never be too polite. And Americans are not suppose to get bows right. I would be more worried for a president who's done so much bowing he/she knows to the millimeter proper form -

President Obama is showing where he got a bruise when he bumped his head on a ceiling fan -
Yellowstone is amazing! Rexburg has a splash park my nieces love, a nice little market called..umm..Basha? You can get like 40 different types of cheese there it seems. Idaho Falls is not far away with a lot of coooool stores and library and zoo. Rexburg does have BYU-I but Idaho Falls has colleges too, and Idaho State is in Poky. Craters of the Moon is about 70 miles away. Umm what else...lol you really should visit. The winter-long 3 inches of ice on the roads is a thing of legend. Island Park is beautiful (between Rexburg and Yellowstone) and the Grand Tetons are close by. What that all means is pretty much the best best-kept-secret skiing resorts in the West.

Ty Elphaba. Happy Birthday to you too, Scorp.

My daughter and I had a good talk today before school about what was acceptable contact and what wasn't. Nothing wrong with a little bumping but ponytail grabs? Not cool.

Well, my sad anecdotal story is I've gone on one single date my entire adult life with an LDS guy. My ex and my fiance are both non-members, as are all the other men I've dated. I'm a curvy woman (my daughter says comfy) who just doesn't seem to fit in with any LDS guy's standard of eternal wife so I went out and made my own life without them. There are lots of fish in the sea after all, and I don't have time to waste on lack of respect Pam, this might be an old post but it's still timely

It's my birthday today so as a present I'm taking a break from this discussion. Enjoy!

Yes those were cute kids! I was 17 when the wall came down, and what I remember most was the complete unexpectedness of the fall. And then total relief that the USA and USSR were not going to blow up the world

LoL admit it, you'll vote for anyone in 2012 that's not Obama

Sorry Bytebear! Force of habit Sorry again, but I see the question of how Fox news treated Pres. Bush II vs. how CNN treats Pres. Obama as very relevant. If both sides are playing favorites then we don't have the right to criticize one over the other.
-
What I'm getting from you, Bytor, is that Pres. Obama is not perfect, yet you condemn him for not being perfect and condemn all news media outlets for not crucifying him when he misspeaks. I don't recall Fox News criticizing Pres. Bush II when he had various linguistic adventures

You should see me fight Mamools on FFXI. Nastily doesn't even begin to cover it

It just kills me how most of the audience was silent while a few (that I assume have watch Mr. Beck before) were just cracking up. You can't really dislike someone's views unless you actually watch them!

Now I know who has been my One-World Order competitor. Cage match!

Awesome. I liked it, especially the part about the buildup to the Iraq war and why journalists didn't do much digging into WMDs (I always wondered about that. Someone somewhere always talks). I also like the flat out statement that news has always been biased. Mahone, it's not a weird accent, it's pure Southern molasses
