I made surgical instruments for 20 years before changing professions. Right about the time I got out they came out with an instrument that was designed to go between the ribs during heart surgery in order to cut back on opening up the rib cage area.

We have Stake Conf next month and we are suppose to have a General Authority at our conference. We don't yet know who it is.

I saw this go down .....I love it and it's one of my favorite quotes. :)

When I go out and do my home teaching soon after General Conf I love to ask my families what they loved about Conference. I ask the less active families that question as well. I have a part member family and I ask the Sister what she enjoyed about it because her husband is sitting there and he is listening to what we say. He is not a member ......yet.

I love it ...thanks for sharing that. I always thought if I got arrested as a teenager or taken down to the police station and they old have to call my parents .....I would be like ...please let me stay here ...because my Dad will be coming and it won't be pretty. Lol

Oh yes....I agree. With so many viewing around the globe on tv it even makes sense to hear ....if anyone cannot sustain them ....please see your stake presidents. Once again ....the children's choir was just awesome

It's been a week since we had General Conference .... What part or when did you feel the spirit the strongest ?? Myself it was several times The strongest was while witnessing the calling of 3 Apostles I felt it again while the children were singing and again Sunday morning while the choir was singing and listening to President Monson.

My wife and I enjoy studying and reading the Book of Mormon each evening. We always find ourselves talking about what we studied from the night before the next day.
