Tough times ......I feel the pain you are going thru as a parent. Those decisions you have made are tough. Our oldest daughter while in High School went crazy as I termed it ....after high school she moved out and in with boyfriend. It was very hard and tough during those years she was away. She did come back.

I think it's time to move on .......you can't live in the past ......face what you did and now it's time to move on. You can't change the past but you can make the future better.

As I mentioned earlier .......when they sustained the 3 new Apostles yesterday .....as. I watched this I felt the spirit and knew they have been truly called.

I watch sports games on Sunday. I know of many who don't'. If you don't feel you should watch games on Sunday's then by all means don't do it. Like anything else a person can go overboard. Years ago I thought it would be awesome to have several TVs in a room in order to watch multiple NFL games on a Sunday. As a dish network customer and one who subscribes to the NFL redzone I don't need more than one TV.

The ever changing Medical world. My wife is employed through our local hospital and its part of a large Medical group. She is a Supervisor over all the Lab Assisstants .... Always going to meetings and training classes in St Louis ....I know of changes on the side of the Lab.

I have told this before , but I will tell it again. Years ago when I was 32 I was just called as the Bishop of our ward. A few Sunday's later my wife was sitting with our 4 kids. Our son who was 6 at the time found a stick pin. He decided it would be fun to poke his younger sister in the leg with it. She was around 4 yrs old. When he stuck her ....her leg went up in the air and she started crying instantly. As her leg went up in the air the Water was being passed and she connected with that water tray and it went flying. The Deacon was laughing and looked up at me and my wife got up with our daughter under one arm and she was trying to grab our son by anything she could get her hands on. She was going to take him out and kill him. Later after I got home I got into trouble ....for not getting up and helping her.

I think something that Elder Ballard stated in a recent talk he gave can be tossed in the mix, ... We also need to study and read the Book of Mormon or we won't make it in the last days when things get tougher than they are now.

We have what we call church movies that we like to watch on a Sunday.
