Hello.:)

Yesterday after a lot of planning I went grave hopping and took 99 pictures for Find A Grave. Some were for me and some were requests from others. I really had a great time.:)

This is something I have been thinking about for awhile now and thought I would run it by the wise people of LDS.Net. We still have a land line that we get charged about 70.00 per month for. About the only people who call us on it are solicitors or reminder calls for dentist visits etc. My hubby suggested getting a basic line without all of the bells and whistles we have but I love the caller ID, call waiting etc when I use that phone. When I lived in St. George for 1.5 years I only had my cell number and I got along fine. My married son and his wife only have their cell phones and they seem to do fine too. I want to rid myself from the phone and costs associated with it but I don't want to get spam calls on my cell phone instead. The worst thing about it is when you make a Dr's appointment etc they look you up by your "Home phone number". I think it might be a pain to switch everything over. Has anyone taken the steps to get rid of their landline?

I have even planned a trip to go and take some photos in Provo the week of July 7th. This great fun... I will need to get a little my courage to write the bios though.

As I think back I have met my best friends at church and I don't feel bad about it at all! I live in Utah and believe it or not every one of my neighbors are not memebers of the church. The ones I have served with in the church as the ones I know best. There is something to be said for serving in callings where you have meeting and go to another persons home for VT or HT. When we open up our home to people is where we really share ourselves IMO. I have even met and become close friends when I have posted on the internet on this website. What makes a friendship in simple terms. Sharing Caring Common Interests Respect Support Love I am sure there are more but we can do all of those things while sharing the gospel IMO.

Once again we have more in common thanks for your posting of this. Hugs, SF

Sometimes you can find someone with a google search as well. What about trying to find your mother first? -
Show unconditional love and love and show respect for your spouse. We teach our children much more by example than we would like to think.

Best Advice? Say YES whenever you can because the times when you say NO it will mean more.

This is not a complete list. :) Waking up each day. Having a comfortable place to sleep. Family and Friends whom I share Love with. Music and Books. The Gospel and the strength of my testimony. The wonders of Nature and the healing properties we get from it. Memory Foam Pillows Clean water and good food. A Great and Healthy Family. The thought of grandchildren one day. Swimming and my ability to float without much effort. The softness of my dog and her patience with my coddling The ability I have to see, taste, smell, hear and touch. The many blessing I have received in my life. The lessons I have learned from my trials. Gift of the Holy Ghost. The Saviors Atonement. -
I also saw this program and thought it was very interesting. I remember that they had their schooling and insurance paid for by the government. They pay up to half of their income in taxes? I can see why they don't have high expectations... they think things will go badly and when they don't they are content. Still not sure that it sounds all that bad... Contentment, this life is a test...

I think that in our church we are taught to become "perfect" and some people have the belief that they are!! I would like to think that we will be judged by the same measuring stick we judged others with. I want mine to have lots of room for errors. :)
