IMO, there is no evidence, we can not prove the prayers are answered, I mean like scientific proof but for most of the people that have faith on the prayer they feel it has been answered so it is taken as a proof. I think on religious matter there's not place for asking for proof, we believe in God, I have never seen Him or Jesus Christ, I know they live , I dont think if I had the opportunity to see them I would be more convinced that they exist than I am right now. is called faith. if the question is if we can prove it, I say no I can't prove it. Is like the type of questions atheist ask: prove g.d exist, I respond I cant prove, but can you prove He doesn't exist? they can't either. The last function of reason is to recognize that there are an infinity of things which surpass it.

I dont really agree with this, because in order to make a decision we must judge, not in the meaning of bad and empty criticism but to consider the pros and cons of something. when we vote we judge the candidate,,. let's put it this way all judgements are based upon opinion. However, not all opinions are judgemental : In my opinion, homosexuality is wrong, however, I would only be making a judgement if I decided not to associate with homosexuals. (this is just an example not that im expressing my opinion on the subject of homosexuality) To make a judgment requires one to carefully evaluate the evidence, to me judging a president is not bad, it can turn bad if you are just saying stuff with the only intention of critisizing this person.. this is judgement but i dont think is wrong thouhgh. I agree with the learn- from -mistakes part, oh and dont get me wrong i aint trying to be argumentative just expressing some thoughts

nothing is going to change in US until a true opposition takes part on the elections, republican and democrats , no offense but dont have sustantial diferences, one probably is more conservative than the other one ,but in esence they are the same..capitalism. anyways anyone is better than bush...

Kimball, some say he was cause george lukas was a personal friend of President Kimball... do you know some other myths such as these?

funny stories, but if there was a contest on the weirdest ward I think my ward would put up a good fight! last fast and testimony meeting this old lady was the first to bear her testimony , she said "please join me in a prayer" so she prayed "Please bless this people , because I know their testimony is not as strong as mine " bless this corrupt country and this dangerous city, in this dangerous city about 10 30 in the morning a couple of hit man wanted to take my son" ... all this included in her prayer!! ... her testimony-prayer went on for 15 minutes, oh and after that she told us that she asked for this prayer because this hired assassins tried to kill her son the week before, it was a very long story.. she even thanked the army for their support... after that a new convert took the stand to tell us about a experience he had on the week, this two girls inculpating him of rape.. so he said it wasnt true and he suggested to take the girls to a doctor to be "looked at" I have a lot of stories from my ward... anyways I love my ward..

first of all, im sorry to hear your having this problems. but dont feel that way, if you are different and you are a progressive thinker but stick to LDS doctrine, dont worry, you are not alone, i bet you there's other people feeling that way, sometimes satan try to make us feel lonely in churc as if we didnt belong there, and eventually leave church for that reason, but if you believe the church is true, and you have a testimony dont let this happen, I am a socialist myself, not very likely to find socialists in church, so yeah I feel like im the ugly duck sometimes but try to overcome this feelings, if the people in your ward had offended you, well that would be a problem but forgive them , we aren´t perfect.. I havent become friend with all the members in my ward, I have some friends I can count with the fingers of one hand, and will still have some fingers left lol, yeah call me antisocial but is true ,. try to comunicate with the members, find something in common probably you like football , hockey or dont know , and someone might like it as well, so you can do this activities together..if you dont find anything in common, just don't give up, you dont go to church to see the people but to demonstrate our HF you are living the gospel,..

I think having a lot of money is not bad, not a sin, is not something bad that we wish we had money, the bad things happen if we finally get to have a lot of money sometimes, it becomes difficult to focus on the good things having a lot pf money, money sometimes makes people proud, make'em believe you have the world under you, until you understand that monew doesnt buy health, doesnt buy a better life , might buy some quality in material stuff, in conclusion money is not bad at all, is bad that having money makes people think that they have it all, and consequently forget that is for our HF, that we have everything..

I arrange the icons in the desktop, according to the wallpaper I have, If I change the wallpaper I've got to change the order of the icons... and the windows sidebar too, depending of the color of the pic. I second dr t's on this one, can't stand sticky, it's a weird phobia I have, I guess, this is the reason I cant eat candies too often =( .,.. I got goosebumps thinking of sticky

almost a year ago he was being treated for generalized anxiety disorder, but I haven't thought about it since then , I thought it was left behind, but now that you tell me, his behavior its getting similar to last year,,, . I will look for this middle ground, but Im not sure how.. may be time will do
