when I was a little kid I was thaught that I should take the sacrament with the righ hand but I dont think it really matters, yeah might be some sort of symbolism.. it would be of not harm for people to try to take it with the right hand. I think the most important thing is to partake of the sacraments worthy and as lost said, focusing on the meaning. As for myself, I am right handed but I simply can not grab the little cup with my right hand I had tried really hard and I always end up spilling the water on the deacon, which is kind of embarrassing ,.. I guess i have som kind of issue with the thumb and the other finger haha.. they simply wont hold the cup steady.. oh I just wanna forget about the last time I tried to grab it with the right hand. the water was all over the place and the dacon held a laugh.. it was like three weeks ago:whistling:

I'm looking for some scriptures that talk about Jehovah being Jesuschrist such as Isaiah 43:11, I had a really good article providing information on this topic . my seminary teacher gave it to me but unfortunately I lost it., and about the term Jehovah. i know it comes from Hebrew יהוה, YHWH, but is this term referring to God the Father as well in some scriptures? and how about Elohim and Adonai? I would really apreciate any information on this,

there are some things that we do not understand and we will never do , it's part of practicing our faith i think .. not to add something to discuss but I wonder the same sometimes I was reading the BoM and found the famous dark skin curse verses 2 Nephi 5:21 , in the opposite we see this verses also in the book of mormon: 2 nephi 26:33 and I try to answer myself , i look at the scripture in Isaiah 55:8-9 8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD....

hi. first of all you made the right decision and I know what it takes to confess something like that. I just talked to the mission president because I want to go on a mission too, and I had some doubts wether I still could go after some mistakes of the past, I had previously confessed to the branch president.. the mission president told me that I can still go and that the miracle of the atonement is that we can become as worthy and clean as we were before, of course after repenting and everything. but he also said that is necessary to wait a year from the last time it happened, I dont know what is your exact situation, but I think this probably applies. anyways I'm happy that I can still serve a mission.. and I'm sure you can too.

We have basic beliefs that make our religion strong. You wont find any true mormon who dont believe them.. this basic beliefs are the important ones for our salvation.. we might have different opinions on other irrelevant things for the eternal salvation, and such differences are not stated as doctrine so that does NOT matter. what matter is official doctrine. It's normal and common within a religion to have differences between members, in catholicism some people say that celibacy is not important, some say it is, in some evangelical churches there are some members that think works do not really matter and some others believe by works and grace is salvation earned.. etc.

my brother's talk was this sunday, he left to the MTC two days ago, his talk , well nobody assigned him any topic he just bore his testimony and explained why he made the decission to go. may be is because he is my brother but it was a very spiritual moment..

I live in SLP mexico. temperatures is like 27°C, but monterrey is really hot , this saturday was 40°C. (where temple is located and I had been going a lot this summer, even tomorrow to take my brother to the airport cuz he is going on a mission, ) i wished it was cold!!

yes, but I will finish my career first, so I will be able to leave right after that , and i finish it on June , so im not sure when to start if this is a good time to buy what i will need...

Hey.. I wanted to know when is someone supposed to fill the papers and send them, for instance I wanna go on a mission on July, next year, when is the best time to fill them? is it to early to be thinking about it or the things I've got to do? I had been thinking and praying and I think I must go on a mission. I talked to the mission president yesterday about this but I forgot to ask him I haven't told any local leaders yet for some reasons.. so anyone knows about this?

You are not the one to say or judge if i know or I dont. having degrees doenst make you omniscient as to say that others dont know what they talking about. ,..I dont have several degrees, not yet because of my age. I am in college and university Im studying two careers so im not just an ignorant that came out of nowhere. and I think that we can learn everyday something new, even from those who had never studied science or thos education fields. exactly, that is what I think, and I find it pointless. the only thing that i said is that and i still think that way. I love boxing.. my bf sort of gets annoyed because i like it haha.. I just have a punching bag here in my house, but I like to watch it more than practicing it actually. I also like kick boxing. the last time I watched a fight ,it was like two weeks ago, it was kind of bad because one of the boxers died from the injuries =( my fav fighter are Erick Morales, Juan Manuel Márquez
